Thereafter, Dr. Chui received a scholarship from the Health Manpower Development Program for a 24-month-long fellowship training at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the US.

Dr. Chua, as fondly called by her patients, is a general pediatrician who obtained her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the National University of Singapore. She then pursued a master’s degree in pediatric medicine at the same institution.

Moreover, she also became a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK and was later on recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties and Academy of Medicine in Singapore.

Before joining the Kids Clinic, Dr. Chua spent some time at the National University Hospital, where she honed her skills as a child specialist. She also acted as a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. 

The Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich subsequently granted her the title “early nutrition specialist,” paving the way for her continued interest in child development. She then used the sequential oral sensory approach to help patients with eating problems.

What we love most about Dr. Chua is her ability to make her patients feel at ease during consultations. She’s also fluent in English and Mandarin, which allows her to communicate well.

However, we just have some trouble booking an appointment with Dr. Chua, since the Kids Clinic seems to have a very disorganized booking system. The scheduled checkups often overlap, which causes a relatively long waiting time.

With over 20 years of experience, it’s undeniable that Dr. Sean Ng is one of the most talented pediatric surgeons in Singapore. He took up his bachelor’s degree in medicine at the National University of Singapore in 2001.

In 2006, he was granted a postgraduate membership at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. A year later, he finished his master’s degree in orthopedic surgery.

Before working for Ardmore Orthopaedic Clinic, Dr. Ng served as a consultant at the Singapore General Hospital. He also became a member of the medical board of the said hospital.

Furthermore, Dr. Ng completed his orthopedic foot and ankle training in Switzerland. He spent a good amount of time honing his skills at the Hopitaux Universitaires de Geneve.

Notably, Dr. Ng has a keen interest in minimally invasive and percutaneous foot surgery. These techniques result in the least possible scarring, which makes them more aesthetically acceptable to patients.

From what we know, Dr. Tay is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic specialist with special interest in ankle and foot surgery. In 2008, he completed his master’s degree in medicine at the National University of Singapore

Just like most of the surgeons on this list, Dr. Tay also went to Edinburgh for extensive training at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011. Later on, he was taken under the wing of the chairman of the Swiss Foot and Ankle Society.

After two years, Dr. Tay returned to Singapore and worked at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He then moved to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a regular visiting consultant.

Now, this brilliant doctor is focusing more on his clinical work at the Pinnacle Orthopaedic Group as one of its resident pediatric surgeons, along with other talented doctors in the field.

Since Dr. Tay has been quite popular in the field of orthopedic surgery, booking an appointment can be quite stressful, especially if you want prompt treatment. We hope that the clinic will improve its queue management to help reduce the long waiting time. 

Dr Nidhu Jasm is a medical expert who specializes in the field of Paedatric Surgery and has also undergone her field of study and attained her respective qualifications in organizations and institutions in India, Edinburgh, and Singapore.

Having possessed an interest in her current field of expertise ever since her formative years, she has also acquired additional years of training as a Senior Clinical Fellow which says a lot about her attitude and passion for her specialization.
