- Has many educational resources for patients

- Ensures post-surgery followup

Cons

What sets The Sleep Centre apart from the other sleep clinics on this list is the amount of recognition that its resident sleep specialist has garnered throughout the years. In fact, to call Dr. Kenny Pang brilliant would be an understatement.
In 2007, he was featured in the American Journal for inventing the Pang’s Expansion Pharyngoplasty—a new technique developed to help treat sleep apnea and snoring. He is also the founder of the ASEAN Sleep Surgical Society.
As a well-trained otorhinolaryngologist, he’d also spent his career treating all forms of sleep disorders like snoring, insomnia, obstructive sleep apnoea, narcolepsy, sleepwalking, bed wetting, parasomnias, and night terrors.
Now, when it comes to its services, we think that the Sleep Center is one of the few sleep clinics in Singapore that provides a comprehensive list of treatments for different sleeping disorders. Moreover, it also offers extra services for other ear, nose, and ear problems.
We also noticed, upon checking the clinic’s website, that Dr. Pang has written blog-type articles tackling different sleeping disorders. Surely, this can help patients understand their conditions better and learn how certain procedures are performed.
Patients who have had previous appointments with Dr. Pang have also praised him for being open about the treatment procedures, risks, and even side effects. His genuine concern with patients is admirable, especially during post-surgery. Thumbs up to his administrative team, too!

Pros
- Award-winning doctor
- Holistic and multidisciplinary approach to the personal health of patients
- Adult and child-friendly clinic
Cons
- Closed on Sunday
- Services offered to treat sleep disorders are limited to sleep apnea and snoring conditions
Dr. Dennis Chua of ENT Surgeons Medical Centre has also been steadily on the rise when it comes to treating obstructive sleep apnea and snoring conditions. This award-winning doctor is an accredited otorhinolaryngology specialist and ENT surgeon.
Dr. Chua received the Best Doctor Award in 2005 and Service with a Heart Award in 2011. His most recent accolade is the Health Manpower Development Award from the Ministry of Health in 2013.
However, unlike the previous sleep clinic that we’ve featured, Dr. Chua offers a more limited treatment plan for patients with sleeping disorders. As an ENT specialist, his services are more centered on ear, nose, and throat diseases.
Yet that doesn’t mean he’s lagging behind. Notably, on his website, we can see how he has put an emphasis on sleep apnea in women and children while providing solutions like evaluation via nasendoscopy and sleep study.
Speaking of his website, you may find at least seven sleep-related articles out of the 40 articles in the doctor’s blog section. That’s only a fraction of the total posts, but patients may still find them useful to get general knowledge about snoring and sleep apnea.
Moreover, patients who have undergone his treatment schemes are satisfied with Dr. Chua’s friendly yet professional approach. They appreciate how he clearly explains his diagnosis and shares advice on lifestyle and routine adjustments.
Of course, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for this sleep clinic. Former clients have criticized the expensive fees for procedures and consultations.
We observed, however, that the clinic responds to these comments politely by explaining to them the rates and payment schemes. This gives us the impression that Dr. Chua really cares about patient satisfaction, solidifying his reputation in this field.
3. Dr. Kevin Soh – Ear Nose Throat Sinus Head and Neck ENT Clinic

Pros

- Provides a number of sleep treatment options for patients
- Website contains educational videos and other references
Cons

With over 23 years of experience in the healthcare field, Dr. Kevin Soh is also definitely a force to be reckoned with. As the clinical director and senior consultant of this sleep clinic, he has already dealt with numerous cases of snoring and sleep disorders.
This seasoned sleep specialist received otolaryngology accreditation from the Ministry of Health in 1998 and is a registered throat specialist of the Singapore Medical Council.
Dr. Soh has also undergone various surgery-related training in robotic, endoscopic, coblation, and head and neck surgery; allergy management; and balloon sinuplasty. He was also once a part of the editorial board of the Singapore Medical Journal.
Good news for non-Singaporean patients who want to consult with Dr. Soh: this sleep doctor can speak English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Indonesia, without the need for translation. That’s definitely a plus point for us!
We also discovered that Dr. Soh’s clinic offers medical services for both children and adults who are suffering from sleep apnea. He may suggest weight management, nasal treatment, use of nasal appliances, and surgery, depending on a patient’s needs.
Scrolling through the clinic’s website is also a delight, especially if you are looking for a reliable source of information about sleep and ENT procedures. It has a dedicated page for educational videos and other media and scientific resources.
If you browse a bit more on the page, you will also come across the patient reviews section. We find it endearing that Dr. Soh has shared some handwritten letters from his patients who expressed their gratitude and satisfaction.
However, not all patients feel the same way about the specialist. One had trouble setting an appointment in his clinic. Dr. Soh acknowledged that scheduling and administration are not his strongest points, and hopefully, he has already addressed this concern.

Pros
- Talented ENT specialist doctor
- Transparent about the billing and payment method
- Has a network of different insurance providers
Cons

- Sleep-related services are limited to snoring and OSA
Dr. Gan Eng Cern is also one of the highly celebrated ENT specialist doctors in Singapore that delivers snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) solutions. He obtained his medical degree from the prestigious University of New South Wales in Australia.
He’s an accredited ENT specialist and received the Health Manpower Development Award from the Ministry of Health Singapore. Prior to that, he was given the Singhealth Best Doctor Award in 2007.
Apart from being a decorated doctor, Dr. Gan is also an avid researcher and a keen educator. Some of his works have already been published in several international ENT-related journals.
While his clinic focuses on ENT treatment, Dr. Gan can also provide remedies for your OSA and snoring problems. Some of the treatment methods he may suggest include nasal decongestants, continuous positive airway pressure, use of dental devices, and surgeries.
Moreover, Dr. Gan’s website provides the necessary information about these treatments on his “Snoring and OSA” page.
We also think highly of Dr. Gan’s clear and straightforward approach to his diagnosis. Plus, the clinic has also allowed last-minute appointments, especially for emergency cases.
5. Asia Pacific Dental Sleep Medicine

Services: CPAP therapy for OSA, oral appliance therapy, diet and weight management, behavioral modifications
Website: https://apacdsm.com/
Address: 101 Irrawaddy Road, #13-04 Royal Square Medical Centre, Singapore 329565
Contact Information: +65 9459 6338
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm; Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm

Total reviews | 3/5 |
Score consistency | 5/5 |
Trained and experienced staff | 5/5 |
Scope of services | 4/5 |
Patient education | 4/5 |
Patient satisfaction | 5/5 |
Pros
- Specializes in dental sleep medicine
- Provides comprehensive behavioral sleep medicine programs
Cons
- Closed on Sundays
- Healthcare referral system that may lead to lack of coordination between specialists and care providers, missing information, and late treatment
Unlike the other sleep clinics in Singapore that we have mentioned earlier, this healthcare facility has built its brand on dental sleep medicine.
Asia Pacific Dental Sleep Medicine’s clinical director, Dr. Kelvin Chye, received his dental surgery degree from the National University of Singapore. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
In general, Dr. Chye utilizes oral appliance therapy to treat snoring and OSA. This method allows proper breathing at night, which can help improve sleep conditions. PAP therapy is also offered, which may involve the use of nasal or full-face masks and nasal pillows.
Browsing through the clinic’s website, you may find a few blog posts that dig deeper into some sleeping disorders. However, compared to the other contenders in this list, the number of educational resources available is few.
You can also count on its comprehensive behavioral sleep medicine programs, which are facilitated by licensed and board-certified clinical psychologists. That’s a promising sign if you ask us!
However, its referral management system is one flaw that we feel the need to note. The issue with conventional referral management systems is that patients are expected to set an appointment by themselves by just handing out a slip of paper.
This kind of arrangement often hinders the patient care continuum, which may lead to more healthcare coordination challenges in the long run.
