  • An outstanding aesthetic doctor
  • Foreigner-friendly
  • Embraces new technology for their skin treatments and other services

  • Expensive
  • Long waiting time
  • Consultation fee of $70

As we age, our skin loses its glow. Fine lines and wrinkles also begin to appear, which may, most of the time, feel inevitable.

However, with the fast evolution of skin care technology, beauty hubs like Sozo Aesthetic Clinic can now provide the best solution to defy skin aging through Ultherapy.

Thanks to its medical director, Dr. Justin Boey, Sozo has embraced advanced technology for skin treatments. Apart from Ultherapy, Sozo is one of the first clinics in Singapore to use Lutronic’s PicoPlus laser.

Dr. Boey’s forward thinking has led to the clinic’s success. In fact, this aesthetic clinic has been featured in many magazines like Her World, Shape, Female, and The Singapore Women’s Weekly.

Moreover, this talented doctor has received further education from prestigious institutions like the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Queen Mary University of London.

Surely, his time abroad has helped him cater not only to Asian but also Caucasian patients, too! So if you’re an expat looking for a clinic that offers Ultherapy in Singapore, the Sozo Aesthetics Clinic may be the best option.

The moment you step into this aesthetic center, you’ll instantly notice its modern design and clean environment. We also appreciate the staff’s friendly approach when talking to the patients.

Unfortunately, their professional skin care procedures come with a hefty price tag. In fact, an Ultherapy session can cost around $3,000, depending on which areas will be treated.

You’ll also have to pay an extra fee for consultation, which can reach up to $70. That’s a bit of a stretch already if you’re already paying for an expensive treatment.

We also have to mention the long waiting time, which can test your patience. If you’re in a rush, this might put you a little bit behind your schedule.

  • An award-winning clinic
  • Has tele-medicine option

  • Long waiting time
  • Expensive treatment

As a highly recognized clinic that offers Ultherapy and other beauty-related treatments, Halley Medical Aesthetics has proven time and time again that it’s one of the best in the field.

In fact, this clinic has received the Ultherapy Golden Record Award for five years. It’s also a member of the Coolsculpting Club 1,000 and 2000. That’s truly an impressive feat if you ask us!

Anyway, Halley Medical Aesthetics is the brainchild of Dr. Terence Tan, an alumnus of the esteemed National University of Singapore. Before starting his own clinic, he worked for Healthway and Parkway Shenton Medical Group.

To help improve his knowledge and understanding of different aesthetic treatments, Dr. Tan has been actively involved in research. From what we know, some of his works had been published in various local and international medical journals.

However, what truly sets Halley Medical Aesthetics from other clinics is its tele-medicine option. With just a few taps on your mobile device, you can now set up a consultation with any of its two highly professional doctors.

We have a few complaints about this clinic though.

First is its relatively long waiting time. While we’re not surprised that people are lining up to meet Dr. Tan, we feel like the clinic can do so much better at scheduling appointments.

You may also have to spend a lot of money for your skin treatment at Halley Medical Aesthetics. Although compared to other luxurious clinics, it seems to offer less expensive procedures, we just think its rates are still on the pricey side.

3. S Aesthetics Clinic

  • Headed by an accomplished aesthetic doctor
  • Open seven days a week

  • High-cost treatment
  • Long waiting time

If the name, S Aesthetics Clinic, rings a bell, it’s probably because you’ve seen or heard something about it before. True enough, it has been featured on various media platforms, including Vogue, Beauty Insider Singapore, and The Smart Local Singapore.

So, what’s the hype all about? This beauty center provides personalized beauty solutions depending on individual needs, with the help of its two doctors who specialize in aesthetic medicine.

Its medical director, Dr. Bernard Tan, received his degree in medicine from the National University of Singapore. Unsurprisingly, he was awarded a gold medal for orthopedic surgery and a Book Prize for general surgery.

More recently, he bagged the SGH Service with a Heart Award and the One Life Saved Award. These recognitions are truly a testament to Dr. Tan’s dedication to his profession.

Apart from all these accolades, S Aesthetics Clinic can also boast about its classy yet cozy interior design. We also love how accommodating its administrative staff is!

Sadly, the long waiting time during consultation is a big turn-off. To avoid this issue, the clinic should have provided a little bit of wiggle room in between scheduled appointments.

Honestly, we’re also a bit taken aback by the expensive treatment. But overall, we’re giving this clinic a big thumbs up!

  • Three doctors with years of experience in the field
  • A multi-awarded clinic

  • Lack of transparency when it comes to cost
  • Unavailable doctor

Another critically acclaimed clinic for Ultherapy in Singapore is Radium Medical Aesthetics.

First, this renowned clinic has received the Spa Awards 2018 Best Pre-Party Prep Facial from Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.

More recently, it earned the Gold Record Award—the highest achievement in the Asia Pacific Region for the top users of Ultherapy.

All these accomplishments are thanks to its founder and medical director, Dr. Siew Tuck Wah, together with two of his colleagues. We’ve seen how they have worked hard to ensure that they meet the strict medical standards for Ultherapy and other services.

With over 15 years of experience under his belt, Dr. Siew has been a household name, especially when it comes to anti-aging medicine and nonsurgical treatments.

For the past seven years, he has actively conducted workshops both in Singapore and abroad. In total, he has already trained over 400 doctors in safe practice techniques.

Like other clinics on this list, this beauty clinic utilizes premium tools and equipment that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration. They also perform CE-marked medical aesthetic treatments that are designed to keep your skin glowing and youthful.

However, what we dislike about this clinic is its lack of transparency when it comes to the cost of the treatments on its website.

Frankly speaking, this would only cause inconvenience to their potential clients who would still need to reach out to their customer representatives.

We also noticed the frequent unavailability of the doctors since they’re pretty in demand. That’s a bit of a bummer, right?

5. Nuffield Aesthetics

  • An exceptional aesthetic doctor
  • Featured in various magazines

  • Hard sell approach
  • Lack of transparency when it comes to pricing

When an aesthetic clinic has been frequently featured in various magazines, chances are it offers excellent services. Nuffield Aesthetics, for instance, has been a favorite among different media platforms, such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and ENews.

The big question is “What’s all the hype all about?”

Well, the answer is quite simple: safe and quality treatments. Nuffield Aesthetics is known for its diverse aesthetic procedures that follow the rigid aesthetic medicine standard.

We’re quite convinced that the clinic’s success may be attributed to Dr. Sin Yong’s expertise. This skin specialist graduated from the National University of Singapore and took further studies at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

To keep himself abreast of the latest aesthetic technology, he attends global and regional conferences. He’s also a Restylane and Stylage trainer for minimally invasive facial rejuvenation.

Since this clinic heavily relies on modern technology, it’s no surprise to find state-of-the-art facilities and equipment on its premises.

Of course, we’ve also noticed some operational flaws that they can still work on to provide a better customer experience. For example, its other staff may push other products or services that may not necessarily be essential to your treatment.

This could easily put you in a tight spot, especially if you’re on a budget. Hence, the hard sell approach definitely needs to go immediately!

Speaking of budget, Nuffield Aesthetics’ website doesn’t provide information about its rates. You may still need to get in touch with their staff to find out how much money you’ll need for Ultherapy or its other aesthetic services.

  • Multi award winning skin, body & laser clinic
  • One-stop medical aesthetic centre
  • FDA approved and non- to minimally invasive treatments
  • Comprehensive list of treatments available
  • Great clinic

  • Limited information on services

VIDASKIN Medical Aesthetic Clinic is a multi-award-winning skin, body & laser clinic that is located in Orchard Road.

We like that it offers the most comprehensive and innovative skin care treatments. Plus, they also only use internationally renowned brands of machines and products to provide unparalleled services.

Another reason why we highly recommend them is because they’re a one-stop medical aesthetic centre offering FDA approved, non- & minimally-invasive treatments.

With that, they have a comprehensive range of treatments—from skin rejuvenation, acne & pigmentation removal, to body contouring and fat loss.

Their treatments are also backed by years of scientific research and clinical trials so we think there’s no need to worry too much about them.

We find the clinic itself to be a relaxing place so it adds to the overall pleasant experience you’ll have when you go here.
