Pros
- Advanced and powerful diagnostic tools
- Personalized vision therapy sessions
- Family-friendly clinic
Cons
- Can be too busy at times
- Communication delays possible
IGARD Eye & Vision stood out easily thanks to its extensive and kid-friendly eye services.
Many of the parents we interviewed told us that the comprehensive vision evaluation enlightened them about their children’s eye condition.
They claimed that finding out issues early helped the subsequent therapies become more effective.
Sessions were also on-time, efficient, and amicable, so kids were more settled than bored during therapy.
Apart from the treatment of kids, a client also said that adult vision therapy was similarly effective. She, in particular, had better vision after undergoing sessions for amblyopia.
That said, a few clients clarified that IGARD can be so busy at times that some slip-ups tend to happen. Mostly, these misses had to do with billing and scheduling.
Fortunately, the company tried its best to fix such small mistakes, also according to the clients.
We also think that IGARD can use some improvement in its presentation of therapy packages to prospective clients. For instance, base rates and inclusions posted on the clinic’s website can come a long way.

Pros
- Quick, painless surgical solutions
- Doesn’t hard-sell its services
- Multiple locations for convenience
- Highly responsive
Cons
- Closed on Sundays
- Procedures can be pricey
If you are comfortable with surgical solutions for your eye problem, Atlas Eye Specialist Centre’s treatment options might be best for you.
Clients we interviewed said that the center offers refractive surgery options, with most of them mentioning that the SMILE surgery and contact lens implant were effective, not to mention quick and painless.
Several of our interviewees added that the clinic didn’t try to hard-sell its treatments, which is a favorable quality in our book.
However, patients also told us that the clinic’s solutions weren’t exactly tailored for children in that they had qualms about subjecting their kids to eye surgery.
That said, older patients can count on the many treatment options the clinic has in store, whether they have a normal or a thin cornea.
However, know that rates for corrective surgery can be more expensive. Ensure you have enough money and are insurance-protected if you wish to push through with this clinic’s treatment.

Pros
- Allows online eligibility test for amblyopia
- Fast response rate
- Kid-friendly amblyopia treatment
- Also offers refractive surgery
Cons
- Has only one branch in Singapore
- Limited treatment options
Bynocs’ focus on amblyopia (lazy eye) therapy made it a popular choice for children’s treatment, as the condition is best addressed while the patient is young.
Moreover, the center’s treatment program proved effective in kids.
Parent clients shared that the clinic tailored the program to keep their kids engaged with the help of game-centric exercises. They were also impressed with a few results showing as early as two weeks.
Furthermore, the children can do their sessions right at home.
The treatment program can also apply to adults and has a duration of only six weeks.
What we saw as a downside was that Bynocs’ treatment programs were fewer than other eye centers. For instance, they don’t offer treatment for myopia and crossed eyes.
That said, we suggest visiting other eye centers so you can get a second opinion and other treatment recommendations.
Know also that Bynocs has only one branch in Singapore and tends to be busy. We suggest booking your visit first to avoid any hassle.

Pros
- Extensive vision therapy options
- Family-friendly and child-friendly
- Highly responsive
Cons
- Does not offer corrective surgery
- Limited operating hours on weekdays
Vision and Perception Practice was a solid choice for many clients thanks to its broad range of vision therapy options.
Happy clients told us that aside from the usual amblyopia and strabismus treatment, the center also offered therapy for visual impairments that are known to affect learning such as dyslexia and dyspraxia.
Moreover, they said that the center took treatments to the next level by also covering therapies for ADHD and autism.
Most of the clients were grateful, as their children’s vision and learning improved dramatically after the sessions.
Many older patients also claimed that the center’s comprehensive eye assessment was unmatched in that they received accurate diagnoses and effective therapy sessions.
That said, Vision and Perception Practice’s services are limited to vision therapy and other eye training sessions. Clients who needed surgery, in the end, had to visit other providers to fix their vision problems.
Know also that the center’s comprehensive eye assessment usually takes up to 1.5 hours, so be sure to plan your schedules accordingly.

Pros
- Provides varied eye treatments for kids and adults
- Reasonable rates
- Accommodating and reassuring physicians
Cons
- Walk-ins might have to wait longer
- Limited treatment options for kids
Eagle Eye Center’s diverse range of eye tests and treatments was most loved by patients looking for one-stop-shop convenience.
After all, the clinic provides both ophthalmic and optometric eye care options. Furthermore, it offers plenty of solutions to adult clients.
One of the many patients who tried the center’s presbyopia treatment claimed that success was a given thanks to the skillful doctors and high-end technology the clinic used.
That said, what truly made an impact on her was how the center accommodated her concern. She shared that the professional who checked her was reassuring.
It also helped that the doctor was transparent with the details of each treatment and didn’t hard-sell any packages.
Also, she thought that the rates were reasonable given the results.
However, she was a bit disappointed that the center only catered to children with myopia. It might have been more convenient if she could bring her kid with a lazy eye here for therapy.
Know also that the clinic tends to be busy, so expect a longer waiting time during your visits.
