The Best Anime Shops in Singapore to Wow Any Weeb

I once blew half my monthly student allowance on figurines and gacha pulls (sorry, Mum and Pop!), but honestly, no regrets. Singapore’s anime shops are a treasure trove for geeks like me.

This city delivers for all those hunting for that rare Nendoroid, newly dropped merch, or even that perfect cosplay wig. Here’s my no-nonsense guide to the best anime stores in town.

Otaku House

Website
Location: Floor 2, Suntec City, 3 Temasek Blvd, #02-475
Contact: +6563360949
Hours: Daily, 11.30 AM–9.30 PM
Offerings: Action figures, cosplay costumes, posters
Price: $$

When my sister wants to hug a new plushie or needs a last-minute cosplay wig, we always find ourselves at Otaku House. Its Suntec City outlet feels like stepping into a miniature Akihabara.

It’s hard to just walk around empty-handed here, as it’s filled to the rafters with wall-to-wall figures and ready-to-wear cosplay. And we love that the staff actually knows their anime references!

Pro-tip: Check the clearance bins! I’ve scored rare merch and cosplay items at half price, especially during seasonal turnovers.

La Tendo

Website
Location: Floor 3, Suntec City, 3 Temasek Blvd, #03 – 354
Contact: +6563366615
Hours:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 11.30 AM–8 PM
  • Friday to Saturday, 11.30 AM–9 PM

Offerings: Pre-painted statues, character badges, anime calendars
Price: $$

La Tendo is where I found a keychain I didn’t need (my dorm has a key card) and where I walked out with five more. The store is like a capsule toy exploded in the best way possible.

It’s hard to resist the shelves bearing pre-painted statues and anime calendars I’ll most probably never write on. Plus, Suntec’s location just makes impulse buys way too easy!

Pro-tip: Wait for site announcements on new stock drops so you can grab rare items, especially limited-edition figures, before they vanish.

Hakken!

Media from hakkenonline

Website
Location: E-commerce shop
Contact: +65 9662 4093
Hours: 24/7
Offerings: Anime merchandise, scale figures
Price: $$

When I shop for anime stuff, I don’t have the time or inclination to second-guess fakes (believe me, there are a lot of them). Good thing, Hakken! offers only official merch, with its virtual shelves stacked high with Nendos and scale figures straight from the source.

The physical stores in Plaza Sing and VivoCity are now both permanently closed, but I’m glad there’s an E-commerce version to browse through (and add to cart). It’s like Muse dropped an anime convention online, so there are no crowds, only goodies.

Pro-tip: Hot items like Nendoroids can sell out within hours of new drops, so check Hakken’s official social media pages often for announcements.

Seimon-Cho

Website
Location: Floor 1, IMM Building, 2 Jurong East Street 21, #02 45a
Contact: +6565692010
Hours: Daily, 11 AM–9.30 PM
Offerings: Sanrio merchandise, stationery, kitchenware
Price: $$

Seimon-Cho is where Hello Kitty meets your favourite anime squad, all in one pastel-packed aisle. I went there just for a notebook but left with a Gudetama frying pan without much prompting.

Its mix of cute and collectable is dangerously good. IMM’s outlet feels like the ultimate kawaii trap, with bags, mugs, and plushies calling your name.

Pro-tip: Expect to pay anywhere between S$5 and S$20 for small items like keychains, and up to S$50 for mid-range items like plush toys and bags.

Omocha House

Media from omochahouse

Website
Location: E-commerce shop
Contact: +6593272335
Hours: 24/7
Offerings: Scale figures, action figures
Price: $$

I consider Omocha House my digital rabbit hole for Nendoroids and scale figures. I usually open the site “just to browse” and somehow end up checking out several things.

It has solid stock with fair prices, and pre-ordering doesn’t feel like a bloodsport, unlike with other anime shops. It’s all online, so there’s also no awkward shelf-staring while I debate a splurge.

Pro-tip: Sign up for the shop’s Telegram alerts for hot preorders and restocks before the site even updates!

Pikku Play

Media from pikkuplay

Website
Location: 1 N Bridge Rd, #02-20 High Street Centre
Contact: +6597694081
Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 2–10 PM
  • Saturday, 2–5 PM
  • Sunday, noon–10 PM

Offerings: Trading cards, action figures
Price: $$

Pikku Play feels like a hidden stash spot for collectors. I consider it a small setup with big finds. I dropped by the High Street Centre outlet for “just one card pack” and left with three figures and a candy toy.

Its stock is legit and tied to big distributors, so there are no bootlegs there. It’s a great place to dig for TCG gems and surprise gachas without the crowd.

Pro-tip: For rare pulls and cheap bundle deals, catch its livestream sales on YouTube.

Chronicles Inc

Media from chroniclesinc

Website
Location: Peninsula Shopping Complex, 3 Coleman St, B1-12A
Contact: +6588349269
Hours: Daily, 11 AM–8 PM
Offerings: Anime figures, statues, collectables
Price: $$

Chronicles Inc. nailed my pre-order. The figures came earlier, and the boxes were mint, which matters when you hoard packaging like I do. Its packing game is strong, and the figures are consistently excellent.

Communication was also spot-on the entire time. It was friendly, clear, and free of drama. That’s why it’s become one of the few shops I trust with grail-tier orders.

Pro-tip: Pre-order early! Chronicles Inc. often delivers ahead of schedule, and popular figures can sell out fast.

KouritenSG

Facebook
Location: 150 South Bridge Rd, B1-22 Fook Hai Building
Contact: +6589512851
Hours: Daily, noon–11 PM
Offerings: Trading card games, figures and collectables, apparel, accessories
Price: $$

It’s at KouritenSG where I cracked open my first Pokémon pack and accidentally found a new weekly ritual. Its play area is big, the vibes are chill, and the crowd knows their stuff.

The staff doesn’t just sell cards, either. They play, too, which makes all the difference! If you’re hunting rares or are just starting, expect this place to set the bar high.

Pro-tip: Drop by on Wednesday nights. TCG sessions get lively fast, and it’s the best time to trade, learn, or test a new deck.

Figmation

Media from figmation

Website
Location: E-commerce shop
Contact: +65 9226 6677
Hours: 24/7
Offerings: Anime figures, comic collectables
Price: $$

Figmation is my quiet little corner of the Internet for anime figures. There’s no drama, just smooth clicks and solid hauls, plus the lineup is clean, and stock turnover keeps things fresh.

I’ve had pre-orders arrive at my doorstep earlier than expected, and boxed like museum pieces. It’s a great place for collectors who want reliability without the retail chaos.

Pro-tip: Check out Figmation’s promo page for hot discounts and deals!

Ani Mecha

Media from animechasg

Website
Location: 91a Keong Saik Road Ann Kway Association, 2nd Floor
Contact: +6580235835
Hours:

  • Tuesday to Friday, noon–7 PM
  • Saturday to Sunday, noon–6 PM

Offerings: Mecha-themed model kits, pre-painted figures, hobby supplies
Price: $$

Ani Mecha is first and foremost a builder’s candy store; it has everything from Gundam to Zoids, plus the tools to bring them to life. Moreover, the folks behind the counter also build, so their advice is gold.

Anime weebs won’t feel left out at this shop, though, as Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, One Piece, and Evangelion pre-painted statues, action figures, and other merch are available, too.

Pro-tip: The staff is made up of veteran modellers and can point you out to hidden-stock anime kits not on display.

GK Figure

Media from gk.figure_malaysia_singapore

Website
Location: E-commerce shop
Contact: [email protected]
Hours: 24/7
Offerings: Resin statues, garage kits, anime figures
Price: $$

Done with prize figures and ready for the big leagues? Then head over to GK Figure for resin statues of the kind that demand shelf lighting and respect.

I like admiring the statues there, though they don’t fit my budget (yet), especially the ¼. ⅙ and ⅛ scales of Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Demon Slayer. The craftsmanship is top-tier, so you can display your figures like those in a museum!

Pro-tip: GK Figure offers both pre-order and in-stock options so you can conveniently collect at your own pace.
