I find Amici’s menu impressively varied. At my most recent birthday celebration, my guests had everything from truffle mac and cheese to laksa shooters. The company also offers customisation for vegetarian and halal preferences without extra fuss.

Delivery was spot-on, arriving 15 minutes early with everything neatly packed and still warm. No chasing around happened because the setup was both quick and tidy.

I appreciated the little extras; Amici offered thematic setups and even helped source a gelato cart for my party! I also like how the staff stayed just long enough to ensure that everything looked and flowed right.

My guests kept asking me where the food was from, which says a lot. I suppose the consistently high scores Amici gets across platforms mirror the quality I experienced.

The downside? Expect premium pricing (Abundance Buffet is S$38/pax, minimum of 30 pax), especially with add-ons. You’ll also go through lots of email coordination because there’s no instant booking option, which might not sit well with last-minute planners.

The dried laksa was awesome, completely finished!

Jason was early to set up the buffet. Despite some hiccups with the booking, which led to the late opening of the clubhouse, he was patient and helped to plan where to place the buffet line. Dried laksa was awesome, completely finished. First to go was the Yuzu drink, which everyone loves. Would try out your live station next time.

Chilli Manis nailed the Peranakan vibe, from the ayam buah keluak (chicken in tamarind gravy) to the kueh salat (glutinous rice dessert). The menu felt like a heritage feast during my bestie’s birthday celebration.

The caterer covers both traditional and modern bites, along with vegetarian and halal offerings. We like that the crew set everything up without needing reminders and that the food was packed well.

The crew also helped with the Nyonya-themed layout, complete with printed menus and floral batik touches! It added just the right flair without being over-the-top.

With solid online reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations, my best friend knew she was in good hands with Chilli Manis. Until today, we can’t stop raving about the otah and sambal prawns we had on her birthday.

The downside is that most of its themes lean on the traditional, so custom non-Peranakan styles might be limited.

Orange Clove’s menu is one of the most extensive that my family’s seen. It’s got local delights, Western favourites, and even Thai and Japanese options in one spread! 

My mom loved that the staff handled dietary restrictions like a pro, since her birthday feast had senior guests with strict halal, vegetarian, and other special food needs that required clear labelling.

This catering company offers full thematic setups, including custom backdrops and table styling. My mom got her tropical-themed dream birthday celebration without lifting a finger.

As a bonus, there were live stations like teppanyaki and satay that kept guests full and delighted! Everyone left the party impressed (and burping), including my pickiest auntie.

Do note that packages are pricier (up to S$43/pax), especially with added decor and live stations. Also, some premium setups require early booking to secure availability.

From bento boxes to full buffet spreads, Four Seasons Catering never fails to impress my work colleagues whenever I book the company for events. Our favourite is the Asian Delights package because we can’t get enough of its curry chicken and eclairs.

The food always arrives on the dot, with all the warmers and trays clean and ready to go. Surprisingly, there’s also a kids’ bento option aside from halal-certified menus, which makes things easier for mixed dietary needs.

I didn’t expect themed add-ons from Four Seasons, though we (especially the decorating team) all appreciated that the staff helped dress the buffet line to match our pastel balloon setup.

Reviews consistently mention good service, and we saw that first-hand with courteous staff and smooth coordination from booking to teardown. Everyone ate well, and I didn’t have to micro-manage a thing.

The downside is that the setup is pretty basic unless you request enhancements. Also, the mini-buffet packages have a fixed menu with limited flexibility for substitutions.

The service from start to finish was excellent 

Highly recommend caterers! Last weekend, our family and another family shared a combined reception for our children. There was good feedback from our guests about the F&B. I especially enjoyed the fish and chicken dishes. How’s Catering delivered a birthday spread for my dad that felt both premium and practical (just like he is). He chose the self-heating mini-buffet, so the food stayed warm throughout without any extra setup.

The menu had a good mix, too. His guests loved the laksa, braised chicken, and kueh. There are also halal-certified options with everything clearly labelled and ready to serve.

Even though it was a mini-buffet, the company added thoughtful touches like coordinated tableware and printed labels. It looked styled without needing a professional decorator.

Its reviews weren’t kidding; delivery was on time, the portions were generous, and the service was smooth from start to finish. Everyone kept pestering my dad about the catering company’s contact info.

The pricing is on the higher side for mini-buffets, though (from S$238 for 10 pax). Also, set menus can’t be customised unless you upgrade to a larger package.
