Catch the best breezes at the 10 best kite flying spots in Singapore!

Why is Singapore ideal for kite flying? Between the scenic parks and steady sea breezes, it offers the perfect playground for your kite to soar.

Kite flying is an outdoor activity that’s easy, affordable, and fun for all ages. So grab your kite, and let’s dive into the best local places to catch the wind and elevate your weekend plans!

Important Singapore Kite Flying Info

In Singapore, you generally don’t need a permit to fly a kite in most public parks and open spaces, making it an easy activity for anyone to enjoy.

However, do avoid flying kites near the airport, military areas, and locations with height restrictions, as these spots may have specific guidelines.

Kite flying isn’t allowed in nature reserves, where protecting flora and fauna takes priority—so save those kites for the parks and other locations mentioned in this post.
