Hit all the right notes with the best singing lessons in Singapore!
Karaoke with coworkers was supposed to be all fun and bonding, until the mic landed in my hands and I squeaked out a painfully off-key rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I didn’t want to be that person again at the next team night out, so I started sneaking off to singing lessons on weekends. Part confidence boost, part vocal rescue mission, the goal was simple: avoid a repeat performance and maybe, just maybe, show up next time with a voice that doesn’t make people stare at their drinks.
If you’re in the same boat (or same shaky octave), I’ve put together a list of some of the best singing lessons in Singapore to help you find your voice—before the next karaoke night finds you.

One of the music schools that caught my eye was Hark Music, which has been around since 1999. What’s cool is that the founder, Amos Teo, came up with his own teaching style after finding the usual methods too rigid.
They use something called the EXPRESSWAY Method, which is a lot more hands-on. It’s not just about drilling technique; they also cover stuff like pitch control and voice switching to help you get the hang of singing a lot better.
They also run a WSQ Voice Confidence Course that’s pretty solid if you’re more interested in improving your speaking voice for work or daily interactions.
If I had to nitpick, I’d say booking a slot can be a bit tough, since they’re pretty in demand. Also, they don’t do biweekly classes, so if you’re hoping to ramp up your progress super fast, this isn’t the most ideal setup.
My experience at Hark Music has been truly enjoyable
“I’ve always struggled with singing, but my experience at Hark Music has been truly enjoyable. A big thank you to Coach Lydia, for her incredible patience and encouragement throughout my lessons. Even though progress has been challenging for me, she always thinks of ways to help me understand better, keep the sessions engaging, and pressure-free.
A supportive and welcoming place to explore music!”

Adeline Gan is a name I kept hearing in church circles, and I found out she’s been active in the local gospel scene for decades. She’s worked with some well-known names over her 30-year career and has recorded 13 church albums!
What I appreciate is that her lessons are quite personalised—you can choose between 30 or 60 minutes, and she does online sessions too. She also offers packaged private voice lessons, which help save a bit of money.
Adeline is also a mentor-level certified instructor with the IVA, so if you’re a music teacher wanting to pick up new skills, she can help you.
It’s also pretty convenient that her studio is an official exam centre for the London College of Music, useful if you’re aiming for certifications.
The only thing is, she runs the studio solo, so getting a slot might take a bit of patience.
One of the kindest and most cheerful people I’ve ever met
“Adeline is not only an incredibly skilled teacher, but also one of the kindest and most cheerful people I’ve ever met. Her patience, understanding, and empathy create a truly safe and supportive learning environment. She goes above and beyond, not just as a teacher, but as a friend who genuinely cares about your progress. Learning with Adeline has been an absolute journey!”

She’s one of the best in Singapore
“I’ve been with Adeline for a couple of years and can confidently say she’s one of the best in Singapore. My improvements have been pretty consistent thanks to her teachings and her emphasis on top notch vocal techniques, helping me reach the notes comfortably and most importantly, healthily.
She just has a way of getting you to understand what needs to be done and is very patient while guiding you through the process.
Very encouraging teacher 🙂 highly recommended.”

Seed Music is a solid choice, especially if you’re just starting out. Their school is tucked away in Chinatown, so it’s pretty easy to get to.
From what I gathered, their singing lessons are quite chill but still structured. They go through the basics like diaphragmatic breathing and tone balance, so you won’t be missing out on the fundamentals.
What really caught my attention, though, was their lyrics writing course. If you already have some singing background, learning how to express your thoughts through lyrics and melodies could really take things to the next level.
They also have songwriting services for folks who maybe have a tune or an idea but don’t quite know how to piece everything together.
However, just take note that their focus is mainly on pop singing. So if you’re more into genres like jazz or classical, they might not be the best fit.
The content is simple, easy to understand, and quick to pick up
“Today, I attended my first class. Although I had already been learning elsewhere for a year, I still felt that my singing wasn’t quite up to par, so I decided to try this new course. The female instructor is very dedicated, and her voice is incredibly captivating, inspiring me to set her as my goal and work harder. She teaches step by step, helping me clearly identify areas where my pronunciation and pitch need improvement, and I’ve also learned the correct breathing techniques for singing.
In addition, their teaching materials and methods are more in tune with modern trends. The content is simple, easy to understand, and quick to pick up. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn singing!”

If you’re looking to take your singing up a notch, The Vocal Studio is worth checking out. They’ve been around since 2009 and offer lessons that you can take solo, in a group, or even online.
They’ve got advanced classes too, which go beyond just hitting the right notes. You’ll learn things like handling a mic properly and performing confidently in front of people.
Plus, if you’re into genres like K-pop, jazz, or musical theatre, they can tailor the lessons to match your style.
Another thing I like is that they’re offering professional audio recording services. It’s a nice way to keep track of your progress and build a portfolio.
Furthermore, they run voice workshops for companies and schools, which seem great for team-building or getting students involved in something creative.
That said, their prices aren’t exactly cheap, and they don’t provide refunds if you need to cancel.
Awesome coaches who really cater their lessons to you

If you’re wondering where I’ve been secretly brushing up my singing before the next karaoke night, it’s at Relentless Vocal Studio. What drew me in is their Flexi Package, which lets me book sessions whenever I’ve got some breathing space after work.
They’ve also got fixed packages for those who prefer a proper schedule. What’s nice is they’ve got a consistent learner bonus: for every three fixed packages you complete, you get one free lesson.
It’s also interesting that they can offer private group lessons for two. Good option if you’re shy and want a familiar face there with you.
The only thing is that they only do private lessons. It’s great for personal focus, but definitely pricier compared to public group classes elsewhere.
I was able to sing more freely and comfortably

With Ariel’s guidance, I was able to sing more freely and comfortably. She is incredibly patient and knowledgeable, making the learning process enjoyable. I highly recommend her classes to anyone interested in giving singing lessons a try!”
