What to Expect at Madame Tussauds Singapore
Say “hello” to replicas of Bollywood A-listers at the Ultimate Film Star Experience

Are you a big fan of Bollywood films? If yes, then a visit to Madame Tussaud’s Ultimate Film Star Experience Zone may just be your cup of tea.
This particular zone houses wax statues of Indian and Tamil global icons such as Kajal Aggarwal, Karan Johar, Sridevi, and Varun Dhawan.
Some of them are splashed across the island’s street art, but here, you can strike a pose right beside their lifelike figures!
Explore different walks of Singaporean life at Images of Singapore

Images of Singapore may just be one of my favourite ones inside the museum, particularly because of its focus on the humble beginnings of the island and the nods to Singaporean life and culture.
You’ll find statues and rooms decorated with scenes of Singaporean history, such as the Commercial Square of 1823, Chinatown in the 1900s, the Jubilee Theatre, a retro TV shop, and a display of the Malay Fishing Village.
If you’re a sucker for history, this zone may be perfect for you. I also love that it’s educational, so tag along with your children too!
Get up close and personal with some of the world’s biggest sports stars

Are you a fan of football? Or have you always dreamed of posing next to Olympians?
If yes, then you’ll definitely get that chance at the Sports Zone of the museum. You won’t meet your biggest sports stars in person, but you can get up close and personal with their wax figures!
Popular statues include football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, Indian cricket star Virat Kohli, basketball player Yao Ming, Singapore Paralympian Yip Pin Xin, and tennis star Serena Williams, to name a few.
Say “cheese” next to Hollywood superstars

The Film and TV section of the museum is probably the most popular section since it’s a staple in almost every branch around the world. It’s the closest I can to getting a selfie with some of my all-time favourite Hollywood stars, dead or alive!
Popular statues include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Vin Diesel, Daniel Craig, and E.T. I highly recommend staying updated with the latest visiting figures from around the world.
Currently, the latest addition to the section is the newly revamped wax figure of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and the late action star Bruce Lee.
Do the finger heart sign next to K-pop and K-drama A-listers

The South Korean wave has finally reached Madame Tussauds! I’m a big fan of K-dramas and K-pop, so I kid you not, I booked a ticket to see the wax figures of my idols as soon as the K-Wave section opened to the public.
Here you’ll find the wax figures of actress Bae Suzy, and actors Lee Min Ho and Song Seung-heon. I also didn’t miss out on an opportunity to visit the wax figure of actor Hyunbin when it was still on display!
Pose next to some of the world’s most influential leaders

A trip to the museum is not complete without a selfie with the wax figures of some of the island’s most revered leaders. A notable favourite among locals is the statue of the late Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s first Prime Minister.
Other popular figures you’ll find in the History and Leaders section are Queen Elizabeth II, Xi Jinping, Joko Widodo, Barack Obama, Yusok Ishak, Narendra Modi, and Goh Chok Tong.
Feel free to take a seat on the props available in each set!
Show off your singing skills next to your favourite pop and rock superstars

The Music section of the museum gets a lot of attention, especially among the younger generation who look up to icons like Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Beyonce.
Their wax figures rack up long queues, but for me, I stick to music legends like the wax figures of Elvis Presley, Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Lea Salonga.
Other popular figures in this section include Asian music superstars like Zhang Yi Xing, JJ Lin, Agnez Mo, Stefanie Sun, and Jay Chou!
Hop on Madame Tussaud’s very first boat ride experience at the Spirit of Singapore
Media from mtssingapore
If you can’t get enough of the Singapore River Cruise along the Quays, then a boat ride aboard the Spirit of Singapore in the museum is a must-do! The attraction is the first of its kind in a Madame Tussauds museum, so don’t sleep on it.
The attraction offers a boat ride through tropical scenes showcasing the island’s flora and fauna, ending with sets of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix track and Changi Airport.
Once you alight the boat, you’ll be welcomed by wax figures of famous Singaporeans like Zoe Tay, Dick Lee, Huang Wen Yong, Jack Neo, and Phua Chu Kang.
Assemble with all your favourite Avengers at the Marvel Universe 4D Experience
Media from mtssingapore
My husband is a big fan of the Avengers, so it was a no-brainer that we visited the museum’s Marvel Universe 4D Experience and took pictures next to the wax figures of Loki, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.
The 4D movie, though, is a definite must-do for any fan of the Marvel Universe. The short film features Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and the Wasp in a cinematic adventure that you can almost feel with your hands.
The special effects add a realistic touch to the whole experience too! Just note that you might get a little wet thanks to the sprinklers by your seat.
Make a wax replica of your hands at the Wax Hand Experience
Media from mtssingapore
Do you want to try wax figure making? Although the museum won’t teach you the taxing and detailed process of making lifelike wax statues, they can teach you how to make wax replicas of your hands at the Wax Hand Experience.
I honestly think joining in on the workshop and creating your own wax hands is the best way to finish your tour around the museum. Plus, they make for perfect souvenirs from your visit!
After dipping your hands in a bucket of wax, you can take your time personalising and decorating it with paint and accessories once it dries up. If you don’t want to get your hands dirty, you can also create small wax shapes instead!
Feel the need for speed at the VR Racing Experience
Media from mtssingapore
No need to wait for the next Singapore Grand Prix. Thanks to the VR Racing Experience at the museum, you can feel like you’re racing alongside Lewis Hamilton right now!
The experience runs for about 10 minutes and features an actual replica of the race car driven by Lewis Hamilton. You’ll sit inside, hold the wheel, and race through the tracks shown on the VR goggles.
After the race, you can snap a photo next to the wax figure of Hamilton himself!
