Singapore is no stranger to hot weather, but I don’t mind because it gives me an excuse to hit up waterparks. And of the many waterparks available in the country, Wild Wild Wet has to be my favourite!
Located all the way north in Pasir Ris, it’s one of the largest waterparks here and home to all sorts of thrilling rides. Some rides are even so extreme that it feels like I’m defying gravity (just with a floatation device instead of a broom).
I’ve visited Wild Wild Wet numerous times now, so if you want to check this one out, here’s a guide to help you prepare.

What to Wear
From: downtowneast
Wild Wild Wet has imposed a dress code that visitors must follow. Here are the things you can wear to gain access to the park’s slides and pools:
- Swimming costume
- Bikini or tankini
- Wet suit, body suit, or burkini
- Cotton and Lycra T-shirt
- Board shorts or beach shorts
- Aqua shoes
- Swim diaper (for children)
Additionally, keep in mind that there are some items that are only allowed in pools, not in slides. These include water guns/bubble guns, GoPro or any other type of waterproof camera, swim goggles, sunglasses, and waterproof pouches for mobile phones.
There are also prohibited items in both pools and slides. These are watches, footwear, surfboards, wakeboards, snorkels, and flippers.
Visitor Tips
From: singaporetouristpass
To ensure your safety and the safety of other visitors, be sure to follow these rules and regulations:
- No smoking in the park area, especially the pools, slides, and queues.
- No drinking alcohol in the pools. Additionally, no outside food and drinks are allowed inside the park.
- You’re not allowed to bring pets or animals inside the park. The only exception is guide dogs.
- Personal floatation devices aren’t allowed in the pools and slides. There are lifejackets available here, but they operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Rides and Attractions
Free Fall
From: euniceannabel
Free Fall isn’t for the faint of heart. As the name suggests, this ride literally has you free-falling since the slide is a near-vertical drop! It’s also the longest water slide of its kind in Asia, so yep, only the daring would go down on this.
I tried this just once when I came here, and I swear, it felt like my heart and my guts were about to pop out through my mouth! Once I landed—after what felt like forever—it took some time before my heart calmed down. I spent a few minutes walking on shaking legs!
Torpedo
From: jaminajheelyn
If free fall isn’t enough for you, then you need to get on Torpedo.
With this ride, you have to stand still inside a capsule, and then the operator pulls a lever to retract the capsule trap door. You’ll be free-falling for what feels like forever, followed by going through 360º twists and turns!
Honestly, the best way to describe this ride is heart-stopping. I always feel like passing out the moment the door goes out on me, and the speed at which I fall has me convinced that I’m having an out-of-body experience. What an exhilarating experience!
Jacuzzi Swimming Pool and Water Spa
From: haroowoonie_
If you’re just in for a relaxing time, you might want to head to the Jacuzzi swimming pool and water spa instead. This one is basically liquid therapy!
The pool has fluid jets that rub and ease the tension in my muscles. It also helps that the bubbling water soothes me down, too.
Take advantage of the waterfall as well. There’s something therapeutic about having water cascading through your head and body.
Kraken Racers
From: yrah_20
Do you have a competitive streak? If so, then you might want to challenge up to three of your friends or family to race in the Kraken Racers!
It’s a giant water slide with four lanes, and the participants have to use a mat to go down it. The slide is super slippery, so you truly zip down in a matter of seconds. It’s so adrenaline-inducing!
Kidz Zone
From: lee.g.yenny
Many of the rides in this waterpark are extreme, but thankfully, there’s still a section dedicated to children. And the best part is that the Kidz Zone is well-furnished, so your little ones can spend the entire day here!
Whenever I come with my family, my little nephews and nieces love checking out the various slides in the play area. There’s also a section for toddlers, so even the youngest in our bunch can enjoy swimming in shallow water.
Sea the World
From: weiya_halim
Another great spot that children will love is Sea the World. Don’t worry, this section (unlike the Kidz Zone) also welcomes adults, so feel free to play with your little ones.
This section comes with five slides, each with a unique design. At the centre is the water-tipping bucket, which is my favourite feature. This bucket gets filled up by the jets of water, and once it’s full, it tips over, drenching anyone underneath!
Splash Play
From: erfanah_hashim
If your little ones have gotten tired of Kidz Zone and Sea the World, bring them to Splash Play! This wet playground boasts several sprinklers, water cannons, water tunnels, and a little play structure in the middle!
This one does feel like a typical playground, just with water this time. It also looks good in pictures! While my little nephews and nieces run all over the place, the adults (basically me and my siblings) pose under the water tunnels to get the best shot possible.
Royal Flush
From: weekendersgp
For people who love to go on rides with others, the Royal Flush is a must-try. This is a hybrid ride—a combination of a tunnel slide and a bowl slide—and you have to sit on a raft with three other people as you drop down.
This experience is a wild one! First, going down the tunnel slide feels like we’re travelling at the speed of light, and then we emerge onto the giant bowl where we slow down as we approach the hole leading to the final leg of the ride.
Shiok River
From: totallytaufiq
Sometimes, we’re not in the mood to be swimming actively. I feel you, and that’s why I’m happy that Wild Wild Wet has Shiok River, their very own lazy river.
This lazy river spans 335 meters, and it skirts the perimeter of the park. I recommend getting a tube so that you can just float around at your own pace, all the while enjoying the lush scenery passing by you.
Slide Up
From: vaniarojo22
Ever wonder what it feels like to plunge down a four-story ramp with another person? Well, now, you’ll have your answer thanks to Slide Up!
I usually go with my older brother, and let me tell you how we scream until our throats give out every time we go down the slide. We accelerate super fast until we reach the end of the ramp, lose the momentum, and slide back down.
The Water Work Giant Spinning Water Slide
From: jaelleang
Get ready to get woozy as you go down The Water Work, Wild Wild Wet’s very own spinning water slide! If you get easily dizzy, you might want to avoid this one.
The first part of the ride is open, while the second is all covered. There are plenty of twists and turns, which can be disorienting, but in the end, as I got up from the landing, I felt energised with the adrenaline pumping in my veins!
Tsunami
From: charlotteseet
At Tsunami, prepare to let the waves carry you away! You can even lie on your stomach on your floatation device and pretend that you’re a professional surfer (which is what I often do).
The best part about this wave pool is that it’s a controlled environment, which means you don’t have to worry about the choppy swells and dangerous currents that you will normally find in the ocean. Because of this, even children are safe here.
Just be careful because the deep end is about 1.8 meters deep. Definitely not safe for people who struggle with swimming!
Ular-Lah Super Flume Ride
From: berdjackass
Ular-Lah is like the Royal Flush but not as scary. Don’t worry, though, because the experience is just as thrilling!
With this ride, you’ll be riding a flume with up to five other companions. Then, you brave the rapid waters in a water slide.
Vortex
From: markcesfreakinciocon
I’m saving Vortex for last in this article because this is the ultimate ride for adrenaline junkies. The adrenaline and thrill you feel when doing Free Fall, Torpedo, and the other rides will be nothing compared to this one.
Vortex is a high-speed 360º extreme loops ride that will get your heart thumping to a whole new level. The ride starts 18 meters above the ground, and once you jump into it, you’ll be travelling up to 600 meters per minute!
The twists and turns with this ride are also nonstop. The experience is almost surreal!
Where to Eat: Ola Beach Club
From: olabeachclubsg
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—12 pm to 6 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—11 am to 6 pm
Ola Beach Club is a popular restaurant and beach club in Siloso Beach, so it’s good news that it now has a takeaway shopfront at Wild Wild Wet.
The menu here is inspired by Hawaiian cuisine, so there are poke bowls and tropical salads. My favourite thing to get is the Kalua Pulled Pork. The pulled pork is tender and savoury, and the seaweed rice adds a nice oomph of umami with every bite.
Where to Stay: D’Resort
From: downtowneast
Most people only come to Wild Wild Wet to enjoy the waterpark, but did you know you can also stay the night here? The park has a nature-themed resort called D’Resort, and it holds up to 387 rooms.
If you can afford it, splurge on a luxurious suite! This suite is bathed in neutral colours, so it feels like you’re on vacation on a tropical island. It also comes with a Jacuzzi-equipped bathroom, so you can enjoy a hot bath at the end of the day.
Happy Fish Swim School
From: downtowneast
Wild Wild Wet is more than just a waterpark; it also has a swimming school for toddlers!
The Happy Fish Swim School has been around since 2007, and in that time, the licensed professionals have trained over 10,000 babies and toddlers.
Some of my friends have enrolled their children here, and they can positively vouch for the services. So, if you’re planning to teach your children how to swim, this is a great place to check out.
Booking for Special Occasions
From: downtowneast
Planning a special celebration for a loved one? You might want to host it here!
The best part about hosting parties here is that Wild Wild Wet will take care of all the planning and execution. I attended a party hosted here once, and we had access to private cabanas and exclusive goodie bags. We even had our own party hosts!
You can expect to have these features as well, but you can also have even more if you choose the pricier package.
