Prepare for a splashin’ good time during the Songkran Festival 2025

Songkran Festival 2025

When: March 15 to April 15, 2025

Where: Downtown East, 1 Pasir Ris Cl

More information here

Being a tropical country, Singapore is always hot and humid, so we Singaporeans find a way to beat the heat however we can. And for this March, one thing we can do is attend the Songkran Festival 2025, which lasts for one month!

Held at Downtown East in Pasir Ris, it’s a water-themed festival. There will be “water fighting,” dancing, movies, and more. Sounds like a fun month-long festival to me!

What to Expect

Turn Up the Heat and Chase the Beat

When: March 22 and April, 6 pm to 9 pm

Where: Wild Wild Wet

Price: From S$21 (you need to purchase a Wild Wild Wet day pass)

If you’re a big fan of The Voice franchise, then you might be familiar with Keng Tachaya, who finished first runner-up in The Voice Thailand. Good news because he’s coming to the festival to delight us with his wonderful voice!

The event he’ll be performing is called Turn Up the Heat and Chase the Beat, and he’ll be singing catchy Thai songs. There will also be electrifying Thai DJ beats to groove to!

Water Fight Zones

When: March 15 to April 14

Where: Wild Wild Wet

Price: S$22 (adult), S$16 (child)

This is personally my most anticipated part of the festival. For about a month, I’ll be able to let my inner child loose and play at Wild Wild Wet!

With the water fight zones, you’re given a Nerf gun with water, and you shoot down your “enemies” using that. Aside from that, there are also dunk tanks (perfect if you want to mess with a friend) and an 8m x 8m inflatable maze. I can only imagine how tricky—and fun—that is to navigate!

Dive Into Movie Magic

When: March 22 and April 12, 7 pm to 9 pm

Where: Neptune Cove, Wild Wild Wet

Price: From S$21 (you need to purchase a Wild Wild Wet day pass)

Do you love Disney and Pixar animated movies? Stop by Neptune Cove on March 22 and April 12 because there will be a screening of Moana and Finding Dory

The best part about this experience is that it comes with a complimentary LED candy floss and popcorn. Just make sure to arrive as early as possible because they’ll be dishing these out on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Muay Thai Takes Center Stage

When: March 15 to 17, 11 am to 1 pm

Where: E! Avenue L2, Event Square

Price: S$5

Take this opportunity to let your child learn Muay Thai, a Thai martial art that uses stand-up striking, sweeps, and clinching techniques. This event comes with trial classes for kids, so maybe by the end, they’ll realize they want to pursue this martial art!

Aside from the classes, there will also be a Muay Thai demonstration. Watch in awe as professional fighters display their skills and agility!
