The 4 best couriers in Singapore are fast and furiously reliable!

  • Delivery speed and options - Need it same-day, next-day, or scheduled? We looked into couriers offering flexible delivery speeds that match the urgency.
  • Insurance and liability - Sending something valuable? We inspected couriers offering insurance and clear compensation policies in case of loss or damage.
  • Service coverage (local and international) - Not all couriers deliver worldwide. As much as possible, we picked out couriers that serve both local (island-wide) and international destinations.
  • Customer support and reliability - We listed companies with responsive support and solid reviews. Real-time tracking and consistent performance are key.

If you run a business or sell online, you know that one delayed parcel can mean a lost customer. I’ve tested more couriers than I care to admit; some delivered, others ghosted.

This review rounds up the best courier services in Singapore based on what actually matters—speed, price, coverage, and whether they pick up your call when things go sideways.

I’ve used uParcel for a few urgent deliveries, and so far, the speed hasn’t disappointed me. Same-day and even 1-hour express options came in clutch more than once.

uParcel offers basic coverage, but if you’re sending something pricey, you’ll need to top up for proper insurance. It’s decent for small parcels, but I’d be cautious with high-value items.

What I liked is how this courier delivers island-wide, and even covers some cross-border jobs. It’s especially handy for e-commerce, especially if you’re shipping to homes and offices across Singapore.

As for customer service, it’s app-based and mostly responsive, but don’t expect a hotline with warm hellos. Live chat does the job, just not always lightning fast. Also, app glitches do happen, and tracking can be patchy at times.

Pros

  • Fast delivery options
  • App-based booking and live tracking
  • Island-wide delivery
  • Affordable for light parcels

Cons

  • High-value items aren’t insured by default
  • The app can get glitchy

Prompt updates and super fast delivery

Delivery was scheduled between 12 pm-6 pm, and I received it at 11.12 am this morning! Thanks very much to Mr Mulyadi for the prompt updates and super fast delivery. Appreciate it very much. Love the uP technology that provides real-time updates and details of the delivery person. Thank you!

For both business and personal parcels, I have tried Ninja Van’s courier services, especially its next-day and doorstep drop-offs. When it’s smooth, delivery is fast, but when delays hit, they really hit.

It doesn’t automatically insure parcels, and claims feel like entering a maze. If you’re shipping anything with high value, I suggest paying extra to protect it.

Admittedly, its service coverage is wide across Singapore, and it handles regional deliveries, too. If you’re doing e-commerce across Southeast Asia, this is a highly convenient feature.

Customer support, though, is a mixed bag. The chatbot is limited, and getting a human response can take ages and patience. I’ve also experienced inaccurate and lagging tracking updates several times.

    Pros

    • Affordable local and regional deliveries
    • Wide service coverage across SG and SEA
    • Integrated tracking system
    • Next-day and doorstep drop-offs

    Cons

    • Slow customer support
    • Delivery delays

      Customer review

      Happy with the courier service

Items received in good condition. Yet to try, hopefully it’s working well. Happy with the purchase & delivery (courier service).

Lalamove SG’s speed is a lifesaver for those times I needed urgent business deliveries. I like that I can choose from 1-hour, same-day, or scheduled deliveries with multiple vehicle types (do note that pricing can spike during peak hours).

It offers basic liability coverage, though full insurance depends on your coverage. I find it good enough for everyday items, but I still double-check when I’m moving high-value items.

Lalamove can handle bulky stuff with lorries, and its service coverage is solid across the island, though I’ve had some drivers cancel on me at the last minute. It’s one of the few platforms where I can book both a document run and a sofa move.

It features app-based customer support, with a live chat that is reasonably responsive. That said, it’s mostly chatbot-first, so getting a human agent takes a few extra taps.

      Pros

      • Flexible delivery options
      • Wide vehicle selection
      • Island-wide coverage
      • User-friendly app

      Cons

      • Last-minute driver cancellations
      • Limited insurance options

The online tracking system was easy to use

I recently used Lalamove, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring all my questions were answered promptly. My package arrived on time and in perfect condition, which speaks to their reliability and care in handling deliveries. Their online tracking system was easy to use, keeping me updated throughout the process. The pricing was transparent and reasonable, making it a great value for the service provided. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I’ve used Qxpress (now TracX Logis) mainly for deliveries from Korean shopping sites, and the timing is usually decent. Standard deliveries can take a few days, but it’s quite consistent once the parcel hits Singapore.

The company doesn’t advertise much about insurance unless you dig around. For higher-value items, it’s best to check directly with the seller or platform if it’s covered.

Coverage is solid for regional e-commerce, especially for cross-border shipments from Korea and Japan. Locally, Qxpress partners with multiple sellers and marketplaces, so chances are you’ve already received something from this courier without realising.

As for customer service, it’s email-based and a bit slow to respond. Tracking works most of the time, but don’t expect instant replies if things go sideways.

Overall, if you’re in a rush, its timelines may feel a little slow compared to other couriers.

        Pros

        • Affordable cross-border shipping
        • Real-time tracking
        • Integrated e-commerce fulfilment

        Cons

        • Limited insurance coverage
        • Inconsistent customer support

          Customer review

My parcels all got delivered promptly

I’m aware that all their reviews are at 1 star, but I personally have not encountered a negative experience (hopefully never!). I’ve always used their pick-up locker to drop off a parcel instead of opting for pick up from home. It feels much faster and convenient. I’ve sent 3 parcels (Malaysia, Thailand and the UK) within 2 months, and they all got delivered promptly.
