Keep stress away with the 13 best meditation classes in Singapore!

I’ve tried just about everything to keep stress at bay: hikes, massages, and even quick getaways in and out of the city. While they work, let’s be honest, they take a lot of time and effort, and sometimes, I just don’t have the energy.

That’s why I turned to meditation. Once I committed to it, there was no looking back. It’s taught me so much about my mind, how it works, and how small mindset shifts can transform your mood. And the best part is that it doesn’t require breaking a sweat!

If you’re looking for a stress-relief option that’s simple and effective, here’s my list of the top meditation classes in Singapore!

Sahaja Yoga offers classes designed to help students find themselves and pay attention to their mental health and well-being. I love that the studio focuses more on meditation.

You also have the option to do them online or in-studio, which offers great flexibility if you simply need to get away from stress at any point of the day. I highly recommend taking a few meditation classes here, especially if you’re new to them!

Oh, and they’re all offered free of charge!

Tips:

  • Since the studio only offers free classes, you’ll need to sign up and register your slot way ahead of time due to the limited availability. They also offer classes for children but only on specific days and times. Learn more about their class schedules and sign up for a class with the help of this page
  • They offer meditation classes in Mandarin as well if you prefer learning in that language. You’ll need to register first and request a special class, though. You can speak to them about schedules via phone!

They offer classes that seamlessly blend movement with mindfulness, creating a unique experience that’s nothing like traditional yoga.

Instead, their sessions focus on practices like Qi Gong Energy Body Activation Meditation, reiki, crystal healing, and so much more. It’s an inspiring space to explore wellness in a way that truly resonates.

Tips:

  • The wellness centre doesn’t offer meditation classes every day. However, I highly recommend signing up for the different mind and body wellness classes they offer such as reiki and yoga.

Mind Body Symphony is my secret weapon for finding balance in the chaos of daily life. Their classes are like step-by-step guides that make sneaking mindfulness into my routine feel effortless and less hectic (considering I booked a program).

One of my favourites, though, is the Prana Vidya course. Think of it as breath control with benefits—emotional balance, mental clarity, and a whole lot of inner peace. Trust me, it’s worth the inhale…and exhale.

Tips:

  • Just note that their meditation programs run longer than other studios, with the fastest one running for 40 hours total. If you can allot more time in the day for their programs, I highly recommend you get the Prana Vidya course (around $1,000 per program). Learn more about their other programs here.
  • They offer some online classes if you can’t commit to their programs. They run for about 40 minutes per session (4 sessions). Just note that online classes run every Thursday morning only!

It’s not every day you find a wellness studio offering such a generous deep dive into mindfulness without a price tag.

Dubbed the Health and Happiness Retreat, this English-taught program is all about breathing and meditation techniques designed to recharge your energy and restore your mental well-being. It’s like a spa day for your soul—minus the bill!

Tips:

  • They offer meals for students taking the Health and Happiness Retreat, so you don’t have to pack food during the full-day session. Also, just note that they only offer meals for their long programs. If you signed up for their short Stress Relief course, I recommend bringing snacks with you!

A friend of mine raved about the meditation classes offered at Space2B and when I tried them for myself, I could clearly see why she recommended the studio.

I love their focus on inner change—simplifying life to cultivate self-awareness, intuition, and love. They integrate these values in their weekly sound meditation, sound healing, and somatic sessions.

Moreover, they offer body therapy, coaching, and workshops where you can meet and mingle with other people who are going through a healing journey as well!

Tips:

  • They offer private sessions if you prefer to learn meditation with an instructor one-on-one. Private sessions are more expensive, but if you’re looking to dig deeper into meditation without doing it in public, they’re pretty worth the cost!
  • If you’re into tarot reading and crystals, the studio also offers such services starting at $55 per session!
