We love that the vessels can house 10 to 28 guests too! 

The cabins are perfect for families and exclusive parties. Some customers said they loved how the vessel was spacious enough to set up minor decorations.

However, know that some yachts are relatively old (built between 2010 and 2012), and their interior look might be unappealing to some. 

But despite their age, each vessel undergoes regular maintenance. We didn’t hear complaints from guests about broken air-conditioning units or loud boat motors. 

As for booking, Yachtly’s platform is easy to use. However, we received a few reports from customers who said rescheduling can be difficult, as the customer desk is not consistently responsive.

Sea Friends is the company to call if you ever dream of sailing on a Riviera. It charters the lovely 3300 Flybridge, which many guests loved for its mono-hull elegance and comfortable seating.

Though an old model, the yacht offers a smooth and quiet ride. However, it’s small and can only accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.

We think this size is perfect for families and couples, though. The cabin space allows for close and intimate bonding without being suffocating (the smaller the group, the better).

We also love how photogenic the yacht is! Guests who did a photo op on top of their ocean date or getaway said that capturing your moments on the Riviera made for gorgeous pictures.

Of course, having only one yacht can be a disadvantage, as you’re not guaranteed to secure a booking every time (many Riviera fans are out there).

The company’s chartered model is also old, which might not cater to more modern tastes. 

Also, the yacht rental service allows one pet to come on board, but the animal’s movement will be limited, which might cause stress to your furbaby.

Those who want to hold small corporate events and family reunions out on the seas should check out Sip N Sail’s 54-foot Kingdom catamaran. 

The three-deck yacht can house a maximum of 28 people. And with its salon, grill, bar, and entertainment system, plenty of activities are available for your guests!

Moreover, Sip N Sail makes the food and dining part easy by partnering with three catering services. 

Many customers said they loved that they could access the caterers’ menus directly from the Sip N Sail’s booking site and order their choice of food without leaving the platform.

One host of a family reunion said that booking Sip N Sail’s Kingdom and one of its caterers was the right decision. The crew helped with the setup ahead of the sailing time and ensured a smooth ride for the guests.

We also like Sip N Sail’s competitive pricing. A rental fee of about $1,100 for 4.5 hours to host 28 people is a great deal (especially if you’re not the only one paying).

However, it’s disappointing that the rental service does not allow cancellations, even if you plan to do so several weeks ahead of your booked schedule. 

The company will reschedule your booking if the weather is severe during the sailing day, though.

We also see the risks of miscommunication during booking, especially when you have special requests such as decorating the salon or vegan meal preferences. 

A few clients who requested such things said that the response from the customer desk was slow. 

Many customers said they love Hanako Luxuries, as it has two luxury yachts up for rent at competitive prices, and both are spacious enough. 

Its cabin cruiser can accommodate 20, while the Sea Ray can house 15. They said the capacities make the two vessels perfect for hosting closest friends and relatives for a fun party on the sea. 

Both have KTV systems, TVs, and water toys, ensuring that entertainment is within reach once the yacht anchors near Lazarus Island.

That said, many customers said they preferred the cabin cruiser for its elegant and comfy seating. Fortunately, they weren’t disappointed, as the yacht’s interiors are maintained well. 

However, some guests said it’s a hassle paying additional fees for ice delivery and BBQ pit. 

We agree, and we think it would have been better if the service included the price for these amenities in their total rental fee (like other yacht rental services do).

Meanwhile, you might want to opt for the Sea Ray if you want to bring your beloved furry friend, as this yacht is pet-friendly (the other yacht isn’t). This one is not as stylish as the cabin cruiser, though. 

Its upper deck seats also show visible wear due to exposure to elements. But, at least, you get to breathe fresh sea air when you stay on the deck.

Valencia Yachts is the practical choice if you’re looking to accommodate large groups for a yacht getaway. By large groups, we mean 28, 40, and 150 guests!

The rental service deploys massive, fully-furnished catamarans known for their volume, comfort, and seaworthiness.

Better yet, the yachts’ rental fees are reasonable. The Valencia is the most popular choice for customers for its large capacity, style, and competitive $1,800+ rental price. 

Those on a budget who opted for the Victoria (starts at $1,600) reported they were satisfied with their charter experience.

Also, many guests, regardless of their chosen yacht, were impressed with Valencia’s crew, as they were resourceful and friendly. They shared that the crew’s attitudes helped make the cruise extra enjoyable.

That said, extending your hours on the yacht is quite pricey. Valencia charges $250 to $350 per hour of extension, depending on the vessel you rented.

A few customers also commented on the visible wear of the yachts they rented, especially the seats and cabinets. 

Some guests might find these few oversights as blights in the luxurious experience.
