Satisfying your cake cravings is easier with Whyzee’s one-hour express cakes! 

The mango mousse cake that we ordered was especially scrumptious, and as sweet tooths, we devoured all of it within seconds. (Disclaimer: There were six of us.) 

Granted, it was a bit pricey for its size, but the fresh mango flavour, the creamy mousse, and the cherry on top were enough indications that Whyzee used high-quality ingredients in making the cake. 

Of course, the mango mousse is just one of many cakes that Whyzee has to offer, and we heard that their raspberry lychee rose cake is good, if not better.

So if you fancy yourself a cheeky lava cake or if you’re a health nut on a cheat day and want a vegan cake, Whyzee may just have the sweet treat that you’re looking for. 

Do note though that you won’t be able to get updates about your cake’s whereabouts until they’re right at your doorstep. Thankfully, they do arrive within an hour. 

If you’re someone who loves everything durian, The Durian Bakery might make your mouth water with their award-winning cake that garnered the label #1 Durian Cake in Singapore in 2022 from Tropika Club. 

I admit that I’m far from being a fan of durian, but their durian crepe Swiss roll literally made my eye roll from how good it was. 

The durian flavour was so subtle, but it wasn’t lost in the sweetness of the buttercream and the layers of sweet crepe. I just had to grab another slice! 

Now, contrary to its name, The Durian Bakery also offers cake with various flavours that range from rich and decadent to fresh and light. 

Although not a cake, their ice cream choux puffs are a delight. 

Now, for the actual price of the cakes, I found that some cakes are relatively cheaper than others, but they are pricey still. 

The Swiss roll alone was $88, and while the price is worth it for the cake’s quality, some would rather buy cheaper alternatives. 

Their delivery service was slow too, which was a bummer because the delivery fee is quite hefty. 

Cat & Fiddle has been around for a decade, and it seems they’re likely to stay a decade more because of their mouth-watering classics. 

Cheesecake lovers, in particular, may love this bakery, as it has plenty of cream cheese-based cakes that feature genius combos like chocolate and banana, peanut butter and jelly, and even cookies and cream! 

We tried their blissful blueberry cheesecake and were pleasantly surprised by the balance of tanginess from the blueberry and the cream cheese and the sweetness of its graham cracker base. 

Admittedly, the taste isn’t something to write home about, but it was a fairly priced cake that didn’t hurt our pockets at all. 

Furthermore, ordering a cake from Cat & Fiddle’s website requires you to choose between regular deliver, flexi-delivery, and same-day delivery. 

We opted for same-day delivery, which is the most expensive delivery option, and four of us split the fee. 

However, if you want to save up a couple of bucks, flexi-delivery would be the best option out of the three. The only caveat is that your cake will be delivered the next day instead. 

Keep in contact with Cat & Fiddle’s customer service or their courier, as there have been complaints about the lack of updates on the status of customers’ orders. 

Luna’s cakes are what one might imagine would adorn Mad Hatter’s table during his perpetual tea time in the world of Alice in Wonderland. 

Delicate cakes with meticulous piping technique, intentional decoration, and vivid colours are what make up this patisserie’s selection, and we simply couldn’t get enough of them. 

Their orh nee cake was such a feast for the eyes with the dainty lavender and cream piping on top that we almost didn’t want to eat. 

But the cake was absolutely delish! The sponge was fluffy, and the buttercream was coconut-y with a hint of yam. 

It was truly a fitting homage to Teochew’s beloved dessert. 

We browsed their website to see what we want to order next time but were kind of bummed to discover that they only have a limited cake selection. 

Another thing is that they are all pricey too, but we think the orh nee cake was worth every cent that we paid for. 

However, since we also paid for their delivery fee, we spent around $100, which can be a lot for some. 

Their delivery service also wasn’t as efficient as we’d like it to be since the courier delivered our order 30 minutes past the delivery schedule. 

Any party or celebration can be made brighter with a centrepiece cake from Honeypeachsg.

Their inventiveness and wittiness when it comes to decorating cake are delightful. It has misty butterfly cakes, fairy cakes, and even a white swan-inspired cake! 

I ordered the ribbon cake which is trendy in Korea for my Hallyu-obsessed sister’s birthday, and she loved it! 

I pre-ordered it and requested to have it delivered on the day before my sister’s birthday, and I was satisfied with how smooth the transaction was. 

The only thing I was bothered about was that some of the buttercream frostings on the sides were lightly smeared, and I suspect it happened during transport because I was extra careful when the courier handed me the box.

I’m far from being a perfectionist, but since the cake cost me more than $100, I expected it to be handled better. 

Tastewise, it pretty much tasted like your regular sponge cake, but my sister loved it regardless.
