The 17 Best Cheesecakes in Singapore That Whisked Me Off My Feet

The crumbly sweet crust, paired with the rich and tangy silky smooth cake layer and topped with a thick dollop of fruity syrup and fresh berries—ah, my mouth is already watering! Whoever invented the cheesecake forever has my gratitude.

I love to bake my own cheesecake at home, but sometimes store-bought does the trick too! I want to see how bakers put their own spin on this beloved dessert.

Fortunately, Singapore has many amazing bakeries that sell phenomenal cheesecakes. Here are my favourites.

Kiroi Freshly Baked Cheesecake

From: kiroi.freshly.baked.cheesecake

Address: 123 Bukit Merah Lane 1, #01-118

Operating Hours: Tuesday to Sunday—10:30 am to 3:30 pm

Contact Number: +6598459845

Website

When I came to Japan, I became instantly obsessed with their own version of cheesecake. It’s so jiggly and fluffy that it’s like eating a cloud! So, you can imagine how happy I was when I learned that Kiroi specialises in Japanese cheesecake.

The original version is usually good enough for me, but sometimes, I spice things up by ordering the cranberry cheesecake. I love how the tartness from the cranberries complements the mellow sweetness of the cake base well. It’s so addictive!

Pro Tip:

The cakes here are “bake to order.” If you want to buy one, you have to preorder at least a day before you collect it.

Cat and the Fiddle

From: catandthefiddlecakes

Address: 3 Gateway Dr, #01-18 Westgate

Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—11 am to 10 pm

Contact Number: +6588796905

Website

I’m obsessed with the cakes from Cat and the Fiddle because they look like works of art. The cheesecakes are no different. There are several flavours, and they look so good I always take photos first before cutting a slice.

My go-to flavour is the Devil’s Chocolate Cheesecake. It’s aptly named. It’s sinfully sweet, with a thick, dense brownie base and a rich, creamy chocolate mousse. Then, it’s topped with chocolate sponge cubes, which are just as rich and fudgy.

Pro Tip:

If you don’t know which flavour to get, then I recommend ordering the Fickle Feline. This cake comes with 10 uniquely flavoured cheesecake slices.

Quiec by Olivia

From: quiecsg

Address: 41 Kreta Ayer Rd, #41

Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—11 am to 7 pm

Contact Number: +6580685525

Website

Quiec by Olivia has some of the most unique cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted. Instead of just cream cheese, they also use blue cheese, giving the cake a slight oomph. I can taste earthy and even spicy flavours in it!

I’m a big fan of the Chocolate Coulant Cheesecake. It’s a Basque-style cake with velvety dark chocolate layers and a salted hazelnut praline. Every bite is a symphony of rich, indulgent flavours and smooth-crumbly textures. I can’t get enough of it!

Pro Tip:

This bakery has gluten-free cheesecake options.

Bakery Brera and Fine Foods

From: bakerybrera

Website

Bakery Brera and Fine Foods is best known for its baked artisan breads, such as sourdough and wholemeal. But this place also offers delectable cheesecakes that you have to try!

The Hojicha Basque Cheesecake is my ultimate favourite. It has the lovely caramel-like flavour you’d normally expect from a Basque-style cheesecake, but it also tastes smoky and earthy—basically like tea—because of the hojicha powder.

Pro Tips:

Every Lunar New Year, the bakery offers 10% discounts and bundles. I recommend pre-ordering your cake to ensure you’ll get it. You can do this by calling the bakery. Make sure you pre-order at least two days in advance.

Looking for a halal artisanal bakery? Then, you’re in luck because Fluff Bakery is here for you.

There are actually only two cheesecake flavours available here, but don’t worry because they’re both delicious. The Basque Burnt Cheesecake is a classic and for good reason: it has that rich, caramel flavour that I can’t get enough!

That said, I do prefer the Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake. It’s super indulgent, with its thick, velvety chocolate layer and the fudgy brownie toppings.

Pro Tips:

This bakery sometimes offers baking classes (such as the focaccia and scones class for beginners). You can also book their catering services.

Nesuto

From: dear.nesuto

Operating Hours:

Contact Number: +6569805977

Website

What I love about the cakes at Nesuto is that they look simple and elegant. And when you take a bite, oh! The sweetness just takes over!

You have to try the Strawberry and Lemon Kiri Cheesecake. I’m obsessed with its different layers of textures and flavours: there’s the crunchy strawberry sable base, then the silky smooth cheesecake and strawberry mousse, and the thick strawberry lemon compote in between the cake and mousse layers.

For the flavour, enjoy the fruity snap from the strawberries and the unmistakable tang from the lemons. In a way, eating this cake tastes like summer.

Website

One thing I can trust Cake Spade to do is have gorgeously decorated cakes. These cakes are also delicious, which is another plus.

There’s a great variety of cheesecakes available here. The Speculoos Cookie Butter Cheesecake has to be one of my favourites because it’s just super indulgent. The cookie butter flavour is strong, and still, I don’t get sick of it.

The Cocoberry Cheesecake is another good one. This cake is more on the tart side, but it has nutty undertones as well.

Pro Tip:

Can’t decide on which cheesecake flavour to get? Order an assorted cake platter instead.

Sometimes, I can’t believe that the cakes from Amrita’s Artisan Bakeology are real. They look so beautiful that I feel like they deserve to be in a gallery!

Their Berried Basque Burnt Cheesecake is particularly gorgeous. It’s topped with a colourful array of seasonal berries and flowers. What a sight to behold!

It tastes fantastic as well. It’s creamy, light, and not too sweet, and the fruits add a lovely tangy contrast.

Pro Tip:

This bakery offers personalised baking workshops, so anyone—be it a beginner or an advanced baker—can take them. Workshops are also great for special events like birthdays.

Another great spot if you prefer Japanese-style cheesecakes is Meruto Cheesecake. To make things better, the cheesecakes here are healthier because they’re made with low-fat, low-sugar, and high-in-fiber ingredients!

As much as I love the traditional Japanese cheesecake, I have to pick the Cookies and Cream Cheesecake as my favourite. It has the right amount of sweetness for me, and the crushed cookie bits add a lovely crunchy texture to the otherwise fluffy cake.

Pro Tip:

Every Christmas, this bakery comes out with an array of holiday-themed cakes for a limited time.

Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory

From: tokyomilkcheesesg

Website

At Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory, you can expect to find Japanese cheesecakes with a twist.

The tiramisu cheesecake is my ultimate recommendation from this shop. It has the fluffy, cloud-like texture that I love, but in the centre, there’s a thick layer of coffee-cocoa goodness. It’s such a nice surprise when I bite into that part.

Pro Tip:

If you order from the website on a weekday and your total exceeds S$54.50, you can enjoy free delivery.

Have you ever tried a jelly cheesecake before? Well, now you can, thanks to The JellyHearts!

I absolutely love the Alluring Chocolate Cake, which is a combination of chocolate cheesecake and strawberry jelly. This combo is a match made in heaven: the fruity and tangy jelly pairs well with the decadent, velvety cheesecake and sweet chocolate biscuit crust.

Pro Tips:

Every Chinese New Year, this shop has specially themed cakes available for a limited time. You can order a custom cake for special occasions.

If you’re on a diet and still want to treat yourself to a slice (or two) of cheesecake, then you need to order from Skinny Cakes. Their cheesecakes actually use 50% or more tofu, making them more nutritious than your typical cheesecake.

Despite being made with tofu, I actually can’t tell the difference; in fact, I didn’t even know it was made with tofu until my friend told me about it! The cake isn’t too sweet and is so velvety that it practically melts in my mouth.

Pro Tip:

There’s always a special promo happening every Chinese New Year. For 2025, there’s a special discount for their bottles (with cakes, brownies, or cookies inside).

Temptations Cakes is best known for their French-inspired cakes. But personally, I think their cheesecakes are the main star of the show.

There aren’t a lot of options, but so far, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried, so I can’t complain. The blueberry cheesecake is my go-to choice because I love how the tart blueberry jam pairs well with the mellow sweetness of the cake.

Pro Tip:

Feel free to order a custom cake for a special event like birthdays and corporate gatherings.

If you’re in the Katong-Joo Chiat neighbourhood, then you have to check out Chezcake Bistro. What I love about this place is that the cakes look stylish and are delicious, but they don’t carry a hefty price tag.

I’m impressed with their array of cheesecakes. Some of the flavours are new to me.

My current favourite is the pulut hitam cheesecake. It has the nutty, caramel flavours that I love in the traditional pulut hitam (black glutinous rice pudding). It even has glutinous rice bits in the cake, adding a bit of texture to every bite.

I’ve been ordering all sorts of cakes from Whyzee these past few years, and this shop has yet to disappoint me. The cheesecakes, in particular, are absolutely divine!

The New York cheesecake with almond is a classic choice, which is no surprise considering how tasty it is. It’s smooth as satin and pretty dense, and the almond bits at the side add a nice crunchy texture and a nutty flavour.

If you’re ordering online, you can score free delivery for orders beyond S$120.This shop always has monthly specials. Check this page to see what cakes are available!

Keong Saik Bakery’s specialty is the Sor Hei pastry, which looks like elegant hair buns. But they’ve started selling cheesecakes, and I’m impressed with what I’ve tasted so far!

They have the classic burnt cheesecake, which is scrumptious, but my favourite has to be the attap chee rose cheesecake because I’ve never tasted this flavour before.

It combines the delicate flavours of rose and the unique taste of attap chee (palm seed). And then, there’s the shortbread cookie base, which is super buttery. I can’t get enough of it!

Home Cafe really sticks to its name; I truly feel at home whenever I dine here, thanks to its cosy atmosphere. I usually come here for a light brunch, but lately, I’ve been coming back just to eat their cheesecakes.

Right now, my current obsession is the Belgium chocolate basque cheesecake. If sin were a cake, it would be this one. The chocolate covering the whole cake is criminally indulgent, and the cake itself is silken smooth. I end up licking the fork and the plate every time I order this!
