Masons Home Decor is basically my Christmas HQ, and I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve spent way too much money and time here. Its range is massive: trees, ornaments, light—the shop’s got it.

The fir trees are realistic enough to make me want to water them. The ornaments I got several years ago still take pride of place in my tree, because they’re sturdy enough to last one season.

If you’re into themes, you can get creative at this place. It carries everything from classic reds and golds to modern metallics and even quirky designs!

You can kit your whole house in one go at Masons Home Decor. Prices run from budget-friendly baubles to premium showpieces, so it’s easy to mix and match without breaking the bank.

The downside is that the store can get crazy packed closer to the holidays, and some popular pieces sell out fast (I recommend shopping online to avoid this). Also, premium trees and decor can get pretty steep if you’re going all-in.

The colour is rich, and the needles have a nice texture that mimics a real tree. Assembly was quick and easy, and the tree stands sturdy without any wobbling. Henry Christmas Wholesaler is one of those places where prices cover the whole spectrum, from affordable sparkly things to lavish statement trees. The real bonus here is that it stocks unique oversized ornaments (presumably for retail displays) and elaborate garlands not found elsewhere.

The variety here is almost dizzying; every corner is packed to the rafters with lights, wreaths, and themed displays. There are full-on winter wonderland whites and the classic reds, golds, and greens, so you’ll feel spoilt for choice with decorating options.

So far, durability hasn’t been an issue with the ornaments I got here. Even the simple trimmings feel and look durable enough to survive my cramped storage year after year.

For those who hate December crowds, Henry’s online presence can make shopping much easier. You can browse the selection at home and skip the chaotic aisles.

The physical store can feel cramped and overwhelming, especially among last-minute decorators. Plus, if you’re eyeing that more intricate decor, prepare for a steeper bill.

Twinkle Jungle is practically a Christmas styling service! I got to know them at my work’s Christmas party, when they got this service to take on our event decorating for a full festive treatment, minus the stress.

The faux trees they used for our lobby had a polished, realistic look that even our guests admired. The ornaments, lights, and garlands didn’t look and feel flimsy, either.

When we were choosing the ornaments, we were pleasantly surprised at the range of themes and styles (some are available as rentals!). Think candy cane arches and playful character ornaments not stocked by other Christmas shops (which made me rethink my holiday decor style several times over).

It’s a one-stop shop for both picking up a few unique accents or for overhauling your entire festive setup. The prices cover both everyday shoppers and those splurging on statement decor.

The downside is that the fancier themed decor can hit the wallet hard, and more popular items move fast. It’s also harder to browse in peace come December, when it’s practically chaotic.

Dazzle Decor is a shop that looks like a Pinterest Board come to life. Its in-store displays help spark ideas for anyone still undecided over a Christmas theme.

I find its pricing fair, with plenty of mid-range decor that balances cost and style. You can easily mix budget pieces with a few standout accents to stretch your decorating dollar.

The quality is dependable, too. The tree I got from this shop still stands firm, the lights still shine bright, and the ornaments haven’t fallen apart after one season. 

The range is wide enough to cover classic and modern holiday looks, though the collection leans toward safe choices over bold statements. Online shopping options are also available if you don’t want to feel the rush of December decorators in the store.

However, the decor available here may feel a little too “by the book” for those chasing quirky or daring Christmas styles. And while reliable, the somewhat predictable designs can blend into what you’d find at mainstream stores.

The fir tree looks extremely real

If there were a star more, it would definitely go to Dazzle Decor! Came across them online, and so happy that I decided to pay a visit to their showroom to select a tree and decorations in person. The service provided by Young was outstanding. He was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We were able to see all the trees and understand the quality differences and types of branches. You get what you pay for! Went for a Celeyn Luxe Hyper Realistic Fir tree, which looks extremely real. Will add photos once it’s up. They were so sweet and threw in some additional Christmas cheer. Attached are some photos taken in the showroom. I understand they stock seasonal decorations, so I will definitely add them to my party list. Thank you Dazzle Decor!

I go to Iggy’s Crafts when I feel like decorating with character and panache. Its rustic handmade pieces and Peranakan-inspired ornaments stand out from the cookie-cutter crowd.

I find the prices reasonable for artisanal work, with smaller crafts and accents being affordable for most budget-conscious shoppers. I’ve picked up a few unique pieces here without feeling like I’ve overspent on them.

The quality shows in the details, too: woven textures, solid wood finishes, and hand-painted ornaments that look and feel like they’ll last many Christmases. Even the garlands look thoughtfully made rather than mass-produced.

The selection here may not be as massive as in bigger shops, but it makes up for it with originality. I consider it my one-stop shop for my Christmas tree to feel both homely and uniquely Singaporean.

The only issue is that the stock is limited, so lots of the handmade items get sold out quickly. The rustic and Peranakan/Southeast Asian touches may also feel too niche among those who like bolder, flashier decor.
