Another service they have that we especially like is their home-based mobile health screening. We like that they make their services even more convenient for their clients.

We find that their team is very efficient with getting the tests done and processing everything. What’s more is that they’re friendly as well.

Fullerton Health provides an exclusive health screening experience to patients. Founded in Singapore in 2011, it has grown into an extensive network of health facilities in other countries, namely: Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Australia.

We found their health screening pod an interesting feature in the health screening process. While lounging in this pod, patients can be screened privately without needing to move to different rooms for each procedure.

The patients we surveyed lauded the complimentary breakfast that comes with each health screening package. Furthermore, most patients we’ve talked to were happy with the privacy and comfort of the pods in the Fullerton Health facility.

Another thing that we noticed from our surveys was that the team of doctors at Fullerton Health seems to be perceived as skilled and accommodating. They demonstrated their expertise well during examinations and procedures, fully explaining the details to each patient.

On the downside, there were some reports of rude and careless staff members. This issue with the disorganization of some staff led to delays in the waiting time for each patient. 

Nevertheless, most patients also reported efficient and courteous staff who made their health screening process more comfortable. We hope that Fullerton Health can improve on these so that all patients can receive a uniformly good experience in their health screenings.   

Healthway Medical Group has over a hundred clinics and medical centers in Singapore, making it one of the largest healthcare providers in the country. It started in 1990, offering only basic services, but has grown to cover almost all areas for the different needs of its patients.

We like that you can find a Healtway facility across the country and even within major private hospitals. Their accessibility is a big plus for patients who do not want to commute long distances for a health screening.

This particular branch at Centrepoint is conveniently located in Orchard Road, and it was renovated recently. This new and better ambiance is something that stood out in our surveys from their patients.

Additionally, we like that the Healthway branch at Centrepoint has up-to-date equipment for a contemporary health screening experience. They even have cubicle-type large seats with a mobile tablet for each patient.

We think it’s great that they provide a wide range of services that can cater to different budgets and needs. The prices of their health screening packages go as low as $350 for the Classic Package and up to $4,500 for the Royal Package.

Finally, we also like that patients can make bookings and appointments through Healthway Medical’s website. Patients who are unsure of what to book can take a brief online test to determine which health screening package is the right fit.

NTUC Income is one of the leading composite insurers in Singapore. In addition to their insurance products, they also offer comprehensive health screening packages through NTUC Health’s Family Medicine Clinic and other multiple medical service partners all over the country.

They have over twenty screening plans available for individuals, depending on gender, age, and medical history. Moreover, patients can avail detailed tests which cover almost any medical condition, with the option to add other tests at subsidized rates.

We like that NTUC offers many packages, from basic ones to specialized plans for cancer screening. This wide variety of packages can accommodate the different needs of patients across Singapore.

Their basic package includes a complete physical examination, simple hematology, and an x-ray, among others. On the downside, their plans are priced from $187 to $845, which are reasonable for health screening services in Singapore.

Another thing that we like about NTUC Income’s health screening services is appointments can be booked online through their website or through calls. This process is essential for patients to know which health centres are available for their chosen services.

You have to keep in mind that the peak periods for their health screening services are June, November, and December. Therefore, we recommend that you avoid those months to avoid crowds and long waiting times if your health screening is not an urgent matter. 

What sets The Iron Suites apart from other health screening service providers on this list is that they are focused and are highly specialized in managing iron deficiency. Furthermore, they have incorporated a holistic approach by including Naturopathy and Osteopathy in their services.

Even though The Iron Suites has expertise in iron deficiency diagnoses and treatments, they also offer other services. Health screens, family medicine consultations, nutrition and dietetics, and physiotherapy are some of their offerings.

We like that The Iron Suites is a medical centre where the entire family can visit for medical consultations, check-ups, and therapy. They offer different packages targeted at each member of the family, namely:

• Women’s Health Packages, which helps target issues related to hormones, reasons for hair loss, pre and postnatal health, and more.

• Men’s Health Packages are specifically designed to check men’s overall health, including sexual health, nutrition, heart health, and more.

• Mum and Baby Health packages were developed to complement obstetric care through Dietetics, Nutritional Health, and Osteopathic Support.

• Family Medicine Consultations such as developmental assessments, immunizations, breastfeeding support, diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases, teen health assessments, and children’s nutritional assessments.

Furthermore, we also like that their wide range of health screening options is affordable. A basic Iron Deficiency Screening package will only set you back $65, while a more comprehensive General Fatigue Screen is only priced at $135. 

From what we’ve heard in our surveys, the patients who availed of The Iron Suites Medical Centre’s services were pleased with the entire screening process. The patients expressed satisfaction with the treatments they received and the pleasant staff at the clinic.

On the downside, one concern we found out was that there were some delays in releasing results to the patients even though they were already released from the lab. We think that this centre should work on their process and communication to avoid such instances in the future.

Nuffield Medical is one of the most affordable private health screening services located on the East Coast of Singapore. This clinic also specializes in family medicine, offering healthcare services to all ages for checkups, immunizations, and wellness care plans.

It’s a plus that Nuffield Medical offers quality health screening packages at reasonable rates ranging from $120 to $1,500. For example, their basic Sapphire Package consists of tests that can check your general health for cholesterol, cardiac, bone, and joint issues, to name a few.

Furthermore, patients have several specialized packages to choose from, including pre-marital screening and fertility tests. This medical centre also offers a comprehensive cancer screening which can identify cancer markers in the breasts, lungs, liver, colon, pancreas, and nose. 

We like that the health screening packages offered by Nuffield Medical already include a follow-up consultation with their resident doctor, Dr. Lin Kay Wei. According to our patient surveys, Dr. Lin is very professional, reassuring, patient, and thorough in explaining things.

However, we think that it’s inconvenient that their centre at Siglap shares the reception space with their dental clinic. This situation makes for a crowded space during peak times, especially at the end of the year, which is a popular time for health screenings. 

Finally, we like the convenience of being able to book an appointment through their website. When booking, you can choose which branch you prefer, since they offer health screening services in two locations: Siglap (The Domain) and Orchard (Scotts Medical Centre).
