Crowd level: Busier around sunset resulting in longer queues

If there’s one place to catch a jaw-dropping sunset, it’s the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, where you’re treated to panoramic views of the city skyline and Marina Bay turning golden.

For me, nothing beats watching Singapore glow from 57 stories up as the sun dips and the city lights come alive.

Tickets start at S$32, but for the ultimate experience, I like reserving a table at Ce La Vi and pairing the sunset with cocktails and fine dining. It’s a view (and vibe) worth every cent.

Facilities: Jetty, open lawn, playground
Unique features: Long coastline, unobstructed sunset views over the water
Crowd level: Evenings attract more visitors for the sunset and cooler temperatures

Whenever I need a seaside escape without leaving the city, I head straight to East Coast Park. Cycling along the coast feels amazing, but nothing beats chilling at Bedok Jetty and watching the sun melt into the sea.

And let’s be honest—sunsets are even better with good food. I usually hit up one of the beachfront restaurants for dinner while soaking in that golden hour glow.

Pro-tip: Fire up a BBQ pit for grilled goodies with a sunset view!

Crowd level: Weekdays are generally less crowded

When I’m craving a sunset with both city vibes and lush greenery, Mount Faber Park and Henderson Waves never disappoint. From the top of Mount Faber, the city skyline glows golden, while Henderson Waves offers a sleek, modern perch to soak it all in.

Bonus: you’ll feel accomplished for making it up there (even if it’s just by cable car).

Pro-tip: Stay hydrated. There’s just one water fountain, so bring your own bottle for the hike.

If you’re after a chill sunset spot with a side of history, Labrador Nature Reserve is a hidden gem. The seaside views are ridiculously peaceful, and you can even squeeze in some fishing or a quick hike before the sun dips.

The old WWII relics here add a cool touch of nostalgia to your golden hour vibes. Trust me, it’s the perfect mix of nature, history, and a little quiet escape from city life.

Pro-tip: Check out the info boards around the park for cool insights into Singapore’s military history.

When I need a sunset with a side of chill vibes, Woodlands Waterfront Park is my go-to up north. The views of the Straits of Johor are amazing, and the long jetty is perfect for soaking it all in.

There are picnic areas and scenic trails nearby if you’re up for a pre-sunset stroll (or snack). It’s the kind of peaceful spot where you feel like you’ve escaped the city without going too far.

Pro-tip: Enjoy a stroll through the park, but watch out for monkeys—and definitely don’t feed them!

If you’re up for a little adventure, Raffles Marina Lighthouse is worth the trek to Tuas for a quieter, picture-perfect sunset. The lighthouse and pier setting make it feel like a mini coastal getaway, and the views over the water are simply stunning.

It’s one of those spots where you can snap Insta-worthy shots without a crowd in sight. For me, the peaceful vibes here make the journey worth it.

Pro-tip: The lighthouse is off-limits, but you can still snap great photos from outside the fence.

When I need a peaceful sunset escape, Lower Seletar Reservoir Park is a no-brainer. The calm waters and scenic walkways make it feel like nature’s version of a spa—minus the price tag.

It’s super accessible and perfect for a relaxing stroll while the sun sets over the reservoir. Hands down, the views here are so serene you’ll forget you’re in bustling Singapore.

It’s got just the right mix of tranquillity and charm, with benches to chill on and spots like kelong walk for an unobstructed view. Honestly, it’s like Singapore’s best-kept secret for sunset vibes.

Pro-tip: End your boardwalk stroll with a feast at Changi Village Hawker Centre—sunset and good food, sorted!

When it comes to sunsets, Sentosa’s beaches have something for everyone—Tanjong for peace, Siloso for lively vibes, and Palawan for that iconic suspension bridge view.

Watching the sun dip behind palm trees and gentle waves feels like a tropical holiday without leaving Singapore. There’s no shortage of facilities, from beachfront bars for cocktails to picnic-perfect spots on the sand.

Punggol Waterway Park is my go-to for a peaceful sunset stroll, with its long boardwalks and calm water reflecting the sky’s golden hues. The Sunrise Bridge (yes, it’s still awesome at sunset) and open lawns make it perfect for unwinding.

Keep an eye out for otters, herons, and even terrapins sneaking a peek at the sunset with you. It’s like a mini nature documentary wrapped up in golden hour vibes!

Pro-tip: Kids will love the mini train ride, and the river views are a bonus.

For me, the Singapore Flyer is sunset viewing at its finest—literally above everything else. Watching the city turn golden from 165 meters up, with Marina Bay sparkling below, feels magical.

If you want to take it up a notch, try the Champagne Flight or sip on a Singapore Sling while soaking in the view. Honestly, sunsets just feel extra special when you’re floating in the sky!
