Joking aside though, we found the best toddler theme parks you can visit with your young kid when in Singapore—from art-based to more physical activity-focused playgrounds. Get your dad and mom gear as you go through our list below!

If you’re a parent looking to instil an appreciation of art in your young kid, then you can check out Artground – M.A.P.
It’s an indoor theme park with a multi-disciplinary approach to fun and learning with various facilities and equipment that will spark joy in little children.
They have colourful bean bags for the young ones to relax and a treehouse to enhance their motor skills, which we think is crucial to the healthy development of kids.
They also have intergenerational programmes to improve the relationship between the younger generation and their elders (like grandpa and grandma).
Pro Tip: Check out their Facebook to learn more about their upcoming contests and events. For instance, in a past event, Let’s Sip and Create, participants designed their own cup sleeves. |

After a day of shopping with family and loved ones, why not bring your little kids to the indoor playground of the Paragon Mall? This forest-themed play area is located on the 5th floor of the mall.
It features a green and brown coloured slide resembling a tree and a panda spring see-saw that your kid can share with their playmates
This playground also features wall-mounted activities to help improve your child’s analytical skills, which we believe are crucial for the overall development of young children.
Pro Tip: While the playground is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, do note that the area is closed from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM for cleaning. This is to ensure that the play area is well-maintained and kept clean for the next batch of kids. |

It has a slide ending in a ball pit and a basketball trampoline, which we were tempted to try out.
What stood out most for us, though, is the space theme of this indoor playground with interesting and colourful wall decor depicting rockets and astronauts. Who knows, this might be what ignites your child’s passion for science and outer space!
Pro Tip: Before you visit this indoor play area, have your kids wear non-slip socks. Shoes and other footwear aren’t allowed inside the playground, so it’s best to have them wear something non-slip, especially if they’re planning to have fun sliding or jumping on the trampoline. |

Interactivity is the name of the game here at Buds by Shangri-La. It’s a combination of different spaces (both indoor and outdoor) that will encourage kids to use their motor skills to navigate the different obstacle courses of the playground.
What we like about these play areas is the distinct feel each one has.
One looks like a space station, another has a kitchen cum restaurant vibe, yet another has a family living room feel, and lastly (and our favourite) a jungle playground with brown and green-coloured slides, climbing areas, and a large ball pit.
Pro Tip: If you have the time and want to save money when visiting Buds, you can visit with your kid during non-peak days (Monday to Friday). During non-peak days, you only have to pay S$48 per child instead of the peak rate of S$68. |

Staying active while remaining indoors here in Singapore is easily achievable thanks to indoor playgrounds like SuperPark. This indoor park is divided into three areas, and each one has a unique set of activities for your kid!
First is the adventure area where your little one can conquer zip wires, play towers, and car racing.
Second is the game arena that lets them play baseball and basketball with friends. We cheered our kid on during his match, and we felt a boost in his confidence!
Our favourite, though, has to be the freestyle hall where they can skate and scoot around. Together with the other parents, we shouted for the young ones to do their very best (and to be careful, of course!).

Future World @ ArtScience Museum is one spot in Singapore that you need to check out with your kid if they’re into science and futuristic exhibitions.
The activities offered by this exhibition are more digitally interactive than physically demanding. We watched our kid do their interactive activity, and we couldn’t help but say “He’s so tech-savvy!”
Younger kids will surely be captivated by the display of colours at the futuristic gardens in the exhibit called “City in a Garden.”
On the other hand, watch your older kids’ (those 1.20 metres tall and above) jaws drop at the captivating sights and heights of the “Aerial Climbing Through A Flock of Coloured Birds” exhibit.

The playground has a colourful ball pit where kids can drown in a ton of colourful squishy balls.
Then there’s a wooden train replica where the young ones can play tag or hide and seek. Just be a fair sport and don’t reveal their playmate’s position!

If you and your kids are into toys, then check out this indoor playground in Singapore called the Joy of Toys. We used to be toy enthusiasts ourselves, and the toys here impressed us, as we never saw them before!
It looks like a modern family living room but with a unique twist. It’s filled with amazing toys that are designed to stimulate the minds and curiosity of young children!
Some of their toys include dolls, doll houses, tea and coffee table sets, dinner room replicas, and different role-play stalls selling various goods. Our favourite, though, has to be their miniature play series with mini trains, trucks, and buses.
Pro Tip: To ensure a well-curated experience, Joy for Toys observes a crowd metre to determine if the different areas are half full or pretty quiet. Check out their website to find out more! |

We can’t help but compare Kaboodle’s play space to a playground filled with giant Legos! Here, the kids can build different structures and shapes using their big blue blocks.
Plus, your kids can try out activities such as messy play and learning programs. Some of these learning seminars include Mandarin music, baby sensory class, and toddler thematic play.
We also liked that the music they played on the speakers seemed to soothe the children.

Kidodo Indoor Playground is an amazing site for you and your kids to check out if you like fairy tales and cartoon characters. It features cute play areas filled with colourful monsters (like a dragon) and creatures (such as a caterpillar).
The playground also features a large ball pit and a twisting slide that your kids can stay in for hours. Our kid stayed for a couple of hours, and it freed us up to do other things (like checking social media and sending some pending emails).
Moreover, there’s an obstacle course and a science-themed interactive wall where kids can control different levers for more interactive play!
Pro Tip: Check out their Facebook to book slots and learn about their latest products. They are currently offering a birthday gift pack that we think is perfect if you want to give a young birthday celebrant something to smile about! |

If your kid wants to learn more about certain scientific concepts and how things work, then this is the place you need to bring them to!
Plus, they also have an obstacle course, slides, and climbing areas for kids to conquer.
The other portions of this playground (e.g. Ecogarden, with its healing plants and tree house, and Earth Alive, with its earth visualisation and AR sandbox) are also a must-visit!
