I once pulled a major surprise on my husband for our anniversary. I hinted he might want to save some adrenaline and energy, but I kept the real plan under wraps.

He assumed we were gearing up for a kickboxing session or something similarly sporty. Imagine his shock when we rolled up to Skypark Sentosa for a tandem bungee jump!

The look on his face when he saw the 47-metre-high platform was priceless (but he was very excited)! So if you’re up for an unforgettable thrill, check out my guide to bungee jumping at Skypark Sentosa!

What to Expect When Bungee Jumping at Skypark Sentosa

Plunge down 47 metres!

Are you ready for the plunge of your life? Skypark Sentosa’s bungee jumping experience isn’t for the faint of heart, but it is the perfect introduction to some of the most thrilling things you can do in Sentosa.

Here, you’ll jump off a high platform measuring 47 metres above the ground. That’s roughly the same size as a 14-storey building!

Don’t worry though! You’ll be safely strapped in multiple harnesses and bungee cords. All you need to do is put on a brave face, stay calm, and find the courage to jump!

Dare your partner to jump along with you!

If you can’t do it by yourself, you have the option to bring along a friend or partner with you to do the jump! The attraction’s tandem harnesses connect you and your friend to bungee jump at the same time.

This might release a bit of the fear factor, but all of the thrill and excitement is doubled. I did this with my husband, and I can safely say that I fared better than he did!

Just make sure that the person you’re tagging along with isn’t afraid of heights or has any medical conditions before attempting.

Expect to get a little wet during the jump

At the base of the platform is a deep pool designed to act as a safety feature for bungee jumpers. In case a jumper descends faster or deeper than expected, the pool cushions their fall, ensuring a safe landing.

So expect to get a little wet after attempting the plunge of your life. Only some parts of your body will get soaked, but that really depends on your weight and how deep you can go!
