Healing Hands Chiropractic stood out for us due to its consistently good reputation in all of its six outlets in Singapore, based on feedback we gathered from their clients new and old.

One of our team members, Ana, tried out the initial consultation and adjustment offering at the Adelphi branch. She chose the outlet, as this was where the director, Dr. Marc Calaunan, was stationed. 

Sadly, she wasn’t able to avail of the discounted new patient package, as it wasn’t available in the said branch. That said, she managed to get an appointment with Dr. Marc.

She shared that she was impressed by how much one can learn from a 45-minute session. The consultation and adjustment were particularly educational and productive, not to mention relieving.

She commented that the discounted $262 rate for new patients was a bit pricey given the length of the session. She gets it, though, since she was consulting with the clinical director.

The treatment plan price, meanwhile, was reasonable with its range of $85 to $150 per session.

Speaking of prices, clients we interviewed found it helpful that they were able to try the initial package for lower rates at other branches. 

These clients shared that they were impressed with the skills of the chiropractors who have seen them. They decided to continue with the treatment plan after the initial consultation—to life-changing results.

Some of the clients were also happy that they can book female chiropractors. That said, women practitioners were only available at the Ang Mo Kio and Bedok outlets.

Many clients commented that the clinic’s operating hours were limited, though, with most of the branches closed on Sundays and the Adelphi one closed four days a week. This can be a bit of a hurdle for busy people who wanted to avail of the service. 

Patients who are looking for treatments other than chiropractic might also want to consider clinics with diversified services, as Healing Hands only has chiropractors in its roster.

Many first-time clients on a budget mentioned Live Well Chiropractic for its affordable trial package. 

Priced at $58, the initial session already included consultation, assessment, and chiropractic treatment. Most of the clients claimed that this was enough to get a feel of the chiropractor’s skills and the clinic’s ambiance.

One patient was impressed with Dr. Jessie Lim from the Sengkang outlet. She said that the chiropractor managed to explain her condition and treatment recommendations clearly.

She also shared that the clinic was okay with her not availing of a treatment plan. This was helpful for her, as she can only afford to pay per visit, given her schedule and budget constraints.

She said she enhanced regardless since she received helpful take-home tips on exercise and mobility from the clinic. 

That said, a few clients mentioned that they would have appreciated it more if the clinic has a list of base prices for its treatment plans for easy comparison.

Also, given the affordable new patient package, it might be a bit challenging to book an appointment at times. Fortunately, Live Well has two more outlets in the city that can serve as alternatives.

Patients who believe that chiropractic is not the only solution for their body pains might appreciate NATRAHEA’s holistic approach. 

The clinic offers what it calls a circle of healing, which includes chiropractic, functional wellness, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) solutions.

One of the clients shared that she was at first doubtful about trying NATRAHEA’s treatment plans because of the potential expenses. 

Fortunately, the clinic’s rates were reasonable and well within the country’s average for chiropractic adjustments ($120), TCM ($38 to $88), and physical therapies ($120).

She added that the clinic won’t force you to avail of the treatment plan if you wish to focus on one service first. 

She did avail of the TCM treatments and physical therapies, which she claimed helped speed up her recovery from back and neck pains. 

That said, the clinic’s front desk might have a tendency to push patients to opt for the integrated treatment plan, as observed by a few other clients we talked with. 

But we think it’s more because the staff believes in the approach’s effectiveness than simple hard-selling tactics.

Know that NATRAHEA’s outlet in Parkway Parade is closed on Sundays and has limited hours on Saturdays. You might have to adjust your schedule a bit if you want to try the clinic’s services. 

We recommend Onsite Health to individuals who are unsure if they need a chiropractor to relieve their body pains. That’s because the clinic offers a free 10-minute virtual consultation free of charge! 

We think the length of the call is enough, too. Just make sure you have all your concerns written down so you won’t forget anything during the actual consultation.

Clients who tried the free consult shared that they got their answers and more during those 10 minutes since they talked with capable chiropractors. 

Meanwhile, one patient who proceeded to visit the clinic for a detailed consultation and treatment shared that she was impressed with the welcoming and attentive front desk. 

Talking to Dr. Micaiah Meuer, she added, was a pleasant experience. She said the chiropractor listened to her concerns attentively and explained everything before doing any exams and assessments.

What she liked most was the range of options offered to her. While the doctor recommended an integrated plan, she was free to opt for periodic adjustments or try the internal referrals (she was referred for a sports massage). 

As she was suffering from tennis elbow for a while now and was on a budget, she opted for the chiropractic treatment first. Thankfully, she noticed relief after a few sessions.

She claimed that the warm environment as well as the friendly staff and chiropractor contributed to her well-being.

That said, a few clients said they’re a bit disappointed that they can’t refer to a readily available list of prices from the clinic unless they call. 

Several of the patients also shared that they noticed a bit of difficulty booking an appointment, as slots are often filled for weeks ahead.
