We recommend Royal Palm for people who are planning an Indian wedding without having to fuss about every single detail.

After all, the packages for the said wedding include a prayer area, a Halal-certified buffet menu, and a complimentary basic sound system good for background music and speeches.

These inclusive items are certain to cut our to-do lists, at least minimally.

We also love that the packages for corporate events come with LED lighting, a high-quality audio system, and television screens. 

Of course, note that the price for this package tends to be pricier at $60 maximum per person. Try to manage your invitation count if you’re going with the company. 

The space can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, but we think the sweet spot is between 300 to 500. More than that and the venue can get a bit stuffy (especially for a wedding).

The Ballroom Singapore piqued our interest, as its local architecture facade is a stark contrast to its grandiose and almost classical interiors. 

The element of surprise and the awe-inspiring impact upon entering the ballroom space is simply sublime. 

Following that train of thought, we can say that the venue is great for wedding functions and more intimate occasions like Aqiqahs and baby showers.

It’s a bit disappointing that the place is not big enough for a large crowd. We would have liked it if we can allow more people to experience the interior splendor of the space. 

Plus, the rates are a bit pricey. That said, the rates are understandable given the detail provided for the color palettes, decorations, and furniture pieces for the events.

The event accommodation might also become a hit-and-miss, as some of the wait staff aren’t as friendly as we expected them to be.

Huone deserves a mention on our list because of its innovative meeting packages. 

Yes, the company does cater to the usual wedding and corporate events, but it is in hosting meetings that Huone truly shines.

We are particularly impressed with the company’s goal to make work meetings more productive by offering thematic rooms that can stimulate the senses. 


Some of the themes include a nest, sandbox, and theater. We so love the cloud room because it allows the sunlight in and has a private balcony!

However, note that these meeting rooms can only accommodate up to 100 people. 

That said, a meeting tends to be productive if the attendees are fewer, so it’s actually a good idea to limit the capacity of such spaces. 

The probable downside is that we’d have to spend more just to hold a meeting. Also, not all businesses are willing to pay for a venue for that purpose alone.

We noticed All To Gather initially because of its catchy, punny name. And what’s impressive is that the company managed to hold our attention with its wide-ranging services.

Aside from the usual events, the company also has a broad selection of party supplies and paraphernalia to keep the celebration interesting.

We can see that most of the themed party paraphernalia are perfect for children’s events, so we suggest giving the company a try if you’re throwing a party for youngsters.

The venue is lovely and spacious, too. We like the furniture pieces, wooden flooring, and curtain walls the most. 

It’s a bit disappointing that the event venue doesn’t have its own parking space, though. Guests with cars will have to make do with nearby parking slots, which can be a hassle.

Availing of the venue add-ons for such as magic shows can be tempting, too, but know that the prices can add up easily. 

It will also be a problem if you break something, as you’ll be charged more.

Young adults and the young at heart who love intimate parties will enjoy the strobe and fairy lights that liven up the VIBE Space.

The lighting plus the professional sound system keeps the party vibe going. 

Although the venue has a small capacity, we still think it’s possible to have fun there, ideally only with your most treasured people. It’s best for intimate gatherings and not ideal for big ones.

On a more positive note, we love staying at the venue’s balcony for its cozy couches and house plants as well as the breeze and the views.

The VIBE Space is also a photography studio, so there are a wide variety of props that we can use for the party. 

We like the idea that we can decorate the space ourselves, provided we don’t use strong adhesives and we clean up after the event.

We are a bit sad that we can’t use confetti and party sprays here, though, as per the venue’s house rules. This is to avoid long cleanup times. 

Also, the space is more like a DIY party venue than a provider that will assist you with everything. It’s not ideal if you prefer other people to take care of your event items for you.
