Still, we believe that Yeobuild HomeRepair warrants your second chance since they also cater to other appliance repairs. So if you have a broken aircon or microwave, you can consult with this company. 

Since their establishment in 1976, Tat Hai Repair Center has provided their massive clientele with the specialized service they deserve.

Calling themselves a one-stop service center for repair and maintenance, this company will easily transform your damaged appliance into like-brand-new condition.

On top of that, Tat Hair Repair Center’s team prides itself on its quick response time. And since they have repairmen spread all over the island, they will assure you that these technicians will be at your doorstep within an hour.

We also like that they do trade-ins of your old appliance in exchange for a new one. Do note, though, that this requires specific conditions, meaning the appliance you wish to trade isn’t 100 percent guaranteed to be accepted.

Still, we believe that under the right terms, you could have the opportunity to score a new appliance for a much more affordable price.

It’s just a bit of a bummer that they don’t have a price list on their website. So their assurance of offering affordable repairs isn’t proven right away.

Another concern of ours is we’ve seen comments expressing that some of their technicians don’t arrive on the agreed-upon schedule. In fact, they’re either too early or tardy.

This goes against their branding as a provider of fast services.

With over 35 years of experience in the industry, it’s understandable why Song Kwang Electric Service maintains its position as many Singaporeans’ go-to for appliance repair.

Not only that, this company is known for its efficiency to provide various services to its clients. In fact, in just a year, Song Kwang Electric Service can accomplish more than 38,000 repairs.

Now when it comes to washing machine repairs, we really like that they have a clear process on how to book an obligation-free consultation with them. Not only that, but you can also request a free quote.

However, since their obligation-free consultation comes with actual visitation so that they could personally diagnose your washing machine, you’re required to pay for a cover charge.

The island-wide cover charge should be around $45. However, for some areas like Orchard, Sentosa, the CBD, and other areas, an additional $20 will be added to the aforementioned price.

However, in the event that you want to hire them, they will waive the cover charge. But for those who decide not to, unfortunately, you can’t be reimbursed.

We’d also like to note that while we believe you get good value for your money when you hire Song Kwang Electric Service, the cost of their services still leans to the pricier side.

So if you’re not willing to break the bank on your washing machine repair, cross this one out. 

Unlike most appliance companies, Washing Machine Repair & Cleaning Singapore strictly caters to washing machine repairs, and we think that this is advantageous in more ways than one.

For starters, they’re familiar with various brands of washing machines. This means that they’re really knowledgeable of the specifications of your washing machine and can thoroughly cater to its needs.

On top of that, this company is actually responsive to customer inquiries and is just one call away for questions regarding their services.

However, while that was our personal experience, other clients have actually conveyed complaints regarding their tendency to become unresponsive through their hotline as well as social media channels.

We’ve also noticed how sparse their website is and how little information there is about their services.

In fact, besides a tab to request a free quote and the list of the services they offer, they visually don’t have anything significant to share. Unfortunately, they also don’t have a price list that you can refer to.

So while we lucked out with their customer response, we can’t really claim that their customer service is good due to the experience of other clients.

Hopefully, they take notice of these complaints and improve on this aspect. 

If you want your kitchen and home appliances fixed, Fixwerks may be the right company for your washing machine repair needs.

Since they cover a lot of appliance repairs, one would think that the quality of their services will be affected by the lack of specialization. Fret not, though, because Fixwerks have licensed technicians for washing machine repairs.

In fact, their technicians are trained to fix numerous washing machine brands and are knowledgeable of their specifications. This way they can ensure that you have functioning equipment that’s as good as a brand-new one at the end of the day.

However, we must note that their hotline was unresponsive to us. We tried reaching out to them a couple of times but were unsuccessful. 

So while the quality of Fixwerks’ services is technically up to standard, we’re afraid we can’t say the same for their customer service.

We do hope, though, that they recognize these lapses because we believe that improving them is a crucial aspect of earning more clients.
