They handle a range of surgical procedures, from treating piles and gallbladder issues to more serious conditions like colorectal cancer. 

What’s interesting to me is their robotic-assisted surgery using the Da Vinci Surgical System, which enables super-precise movements and improves the success rates of operations.

Alongside this, they also offer traditional minimally invasive keyhole surgeries, performed with specialised instruments like laparoscopes and thoracoscopes.

However, one issue I have is their lack of insurance provider partners. This can make filing for an insurance claim a bit more of a hassle than it needs to be.

With 25 years of experience, Dr. Reyaz Singaporewalla is one of the most seasoned surgeons I’ve added to my list. I chose him for my colonoscopy because his impressive resume made him an easy pick.

A graduate of the University of Mumbai, Dr. Singaporewalla is best known for introducing Minimally Invasive Video-Assisted Thyroidectomy here. He’s performed this procedure countless times and even published his findings in an international peer-reviewed journal, the ANZ Journal of Surgery. 

I also liked how he built his clinic, ACE Specialist Surgery & Endoscopy Centre, into a one-stop clinic. Having consultations, tests, and procedures all in the same place saved me from bouncing between different facilities.

That said, securing an appointment was tough. It took me days to lock in a slot, likely due to high demand and his limited availability.
