Stay flexi and less creaky with the best joint supplements in Singapore!
You know that eye-opening moment when you’re jogging and your knees start sounding like a bag of chips? Yeah, been there, felt that.
Luckily for me (unluckily for my friends), I had a few friends who had already limped down that same road before me. They gave me a lot of advice, with ‘take joint supplements, ASAP’ as the common one. Now, I’m moving better!
Of course, not every supplement I tried worked. The good news? You don’t have to worry about snake skin in a capsule, as this review only focuses on those with proven, typically non-harmful results.

Holistic Way’s premium-grade supplements worked out nicely for me and my friends. Not that it’s too shocking, as their tablets primarily contain glucosamine, known for cushioning joints, and MSM, which has anti-inflammatory properties.
Aside from that, there are choices (including gummies for kids) with D3, flaxseed oil, calcium, and collagen. That offers more personalisation, especially if you need extras like improved skin texture (even without going to a skin doctor) or enhanced cardiovascular health.
I also love the lack of major additives/fillers, such as non-organic flavours, preservatives, or colours.
Even better, those with dietary preferences aren’t left out. They have halal- and vegan-/vegetarian-friendly supplements here.
It helps, too, that Holistic Way has been open since 2007 and has bagged accolades like the Brands for Good Award (2024).
However, pricing isn’t in the ‘budget-friendly’ range, but they do offer discounts and bundles.

If awards mean a lot to you, opting for Ocean Health might be the right move. They’ve received honours such as Superbrands Singapore and Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Singapore, both in 2018.
Being a part of the pharmaceutical group Hyphens Pharma adds credibility to their name as well.
Ingredients-wise, they tick evidence-backed ones, such as glucosamine, D3, and MSM. Vegetarian options are in the books, too, but no halal-certified products yet for their joint supplement range.
To be fair, they offer solutions other brands don’t have. For example, Ocean Health has anti-cramp formulas with D3 and magnesium, and these even tend to be cheaper.
Speaking of rates, they’re usually on the lower end…just without bundles and discounts. Still, most supplements here are priced between S$30 and S$50, and the higher-end bottles don’t even hit the S$70 mark.
Similar to the first entry, however, their physical store shuts down on weekends.

The Quality is Good
Our family members have been taking OMEGA-3 fish oil from OceanHealth for as many as 5 to 7 years already. The quality is good because we saw results for our blood tests improving when we take the supplement with changes in our diet and regular exercises. Cynovial was created with the backing of orthopaedic specialists. That’s why it’s among the most ‘loaded’ supplements here if we’re talking ingredients.
Specifically, the formula is built around undenatured type II collagen. Studies provided by Nutritional Physical Therapy and Arthritis Foundation indicate that the protein may prevent osteoarthritis, reduce joint pain or inflammation, and enhance mobility.
Beyond that, the joint supplement has turmeric, Indian frankincense, Indian ginseng, and ginger. These traditional herbs have proven anti-inflammatory properties.
It may not suit everyone, though, particularly those avoiding chicken-based ingredients.
You’re also looking at rates above Singapore’s usual averages; a bottle with 60 capsules goes for S$129. Even with bundle discounts, the costs stay high, as two bottles will set you back S$250.
The upside is that Cynovial has a great reputation among athletes and adults. In fact, most of the patrons we spoke to are cyclists and adults in their 30s.
Go-To Product
My parents got their 1st bottle at the orthopaedic clinic and have seen an improvement after approximately 3 weeks now, and I’m happy to see that they are very pleased with the result. After trying so many products on the market, they feel that this is definitely the go-to product for joint pain relief. Not to mention that it has a good mix of ingredients that benefit in many other ways as well. Highly recommend! I’m glad I can buy them their 2nd bottle online which is super convenient (plus got free delivery).

For those who lean toward established names, LAC is a dependable pick. The brand has been around since 1997, with more than 250 stores across Asia and the Americas.
Another factor that brought them here is the variety of their joint supplements. With over 30 different bottles, each containing different sets of clinically proven ingredients, this brand has this list’s widest range.
One particular product that has received praise from our interviewees is the vegetarian-friendly Joint Protec. That’s no surprise since it has glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM, with the added benefit of having no preservatives or artificial components.
Unfortunately, nothing in their selection is vegan-friendly and halal-certified for now.
The majority of what LAC sells is also within the mid-range bracket.
The good news is they’re not shy about rolling out discounts. Members even get lower deals.

Choosing Jointplex Pro makes sense when you only use vegetarian and halal supplements with proven plant-based formulas.
You see, this supplement has a formulation called Quadrium. It consists of the following herbs: ashwagandha (mobility support), curcumin (antioxidant), boswellia (cartilage protector), and ginger (anti-inflammatory).
