These 5 best tyre shops in Singapore won’t deflate your wallet!

  • Tyre range and brands - A good tyre shop should offer a wide selection of reputable brands (e.g., Michelin, Bridgestone, and Goodyear) and sizes to suit different car types and budgets.
  • Transparent pricing and package details - We looked for clear all-in pricing that includes installation, balancing, and disposal of old tyres. Bonus for shops that throw in free rotations or nitrogen top-ups.
  • Service quality and equipment - Skilled technicians and up-to-date equipment like 3D alignment machines make a huge difference in tyre lifespan and driving safety.
  • Warranty - Shops with proper warranty coverage (at least a 1-year manufacturer warranty) are generally more reliable.

I don’t know what it is: bad luck, road karma, or just too many curb kisses, but I’ve had to change more tyres than I’d like to admit. Over time, I’ve learned which shops are fast, fair, and won’t talk down to you just because you’re a lady driver.

If you’re also tired of dodgy quotes and long waits, this list is for you. These are the best tyre shops in Singapore that make the whole tire-changing ordeal bearable.

AL Tyres has saved my car (and sanity) more than once, especially when I needed something fast and budget-friendly. The shop stocks a wide range, from budget tyres to premium brands like Michelin and Continental.

The prices are upfront and clear, and there were no sneaky extras once my bill came. I like its bundle deals, too; they often include installation, balancing, and nitrogen top-up, so a visit is always worth it.

The place is often packed, which makes the quick and efficient service a pleasant surprise at AL Tyres. I appreciate the well-versed staff and the proper alignment tools they use.

There’s also a limited pro-rated warranty on most new tires (5 years!), which should explain why most of its solid reviews are from happy, satisfied customers.

The downside? The shop gets crowded, and parking can be tight. Also, if you’re nit-picky about ambience, the place is more practical than polished.

Pros

  • Free quotes
  • Wide tyre selection
  • Fast, no-frills service
  • Value-added services

Cons

  • Crowded and tight parking
  • Basic facilities

Now I understand why they are so popular

Changed tyres at AL Serangoon this morning, and the service is fantastic. Prices are reasonable, too, and I did not experience any hardselling of anything. The supervisor also did a check on my battery and advised me when to change it. Now I understand why they are so popular. Will definitely return!

All 4 tyres were done within an hour

Very helpful and friendly staff. Ah Ye is very professional, took time to explain the different types of tyres to me and showed me before replacing. Everything went smoothly and all 4 tyres were done within an hour. Definitely a place to go if you’re looking for new tyres!

I first dropped by Chen Jin Trading when my tyre blew out mid-week. I was immediately impressed by the shop’s wide selection, from budget Kumho and Giti to premium Bridgestone and Michelin.

I’m glad that it also carries sporty rims and batteries, so I can sort everything in one go in case of emergencies. Its pricing is transparent and competitive, too; I just WhatsApped the lady boss for a quote and got a firm figure with no hard upselling.

The service is top-notch, with fast tyre changes, including torque-wrench tightening, complimentary wheel balancing, alignment, and even rim cleaning as standards. Some customers also got trade-in rims swapped free of charge when they didn’t fit!

Chen Jin offers unlimited tyre patching and free rotation (every 10,000 km) for Augoreen-branded tyres, and other services as part of the shop’s bundles. It helps that the shop is an authorised dealer of Bridgestone and Pirelli, too.

It does get cramped in the shop while you’re waiting, though. The waiting area is small, so weekend visits can get crowded. Also, some branches outsource alignment services, so you might have to book extra time for a full four-wheel alignment.

Pros

  • Wide range of tyres and rims
  • No-obligation quotes
  • Extras included
  • Reasonable warranties

Cons

  • No 24-hour emergency service
  • Cramped space

Their attention to detail is commendable

Highly recommended. Chen Jin provides a thorough washing of the rims and fresh tire changes, along with tire waxing. Their attention to detail is commendable. You can relax in the air-conditioned lounge while waiting for your service to be completed. Plus, they offer a complimentary tire rotation after 10,000 km and a free tire patch if needed. Good stuff.

My car tracks perfectly straight now

The technicians were knowledgeable and used a high-quality alignment system. They provided a detailed before-and-after printout. The steering feels more precise, and the car tracks perfectly straight now. Great customer service, and I highly recommend them!

My dad had a puncture near Tampines and ended up at Arrow Tyres. He was surprised by its range, from Michelin to more wallet-friendly brands like Radar. He also ended up browsing a wide range of rims “just for fun.”

He appreciated that the prices were quoted upfront, minus sales pressure for other services or products. The staff gave him clear options and didn’t talk down to him, which he always notices with other shops.

The tyres come with a 5-year manufacturer warranty, and the team even threw in a wheel alignment using one of those fancy Hunter machines.

As a disclaimer, always double-check if your quote includes alignment, as it’s not always part of the tyre package.

The shop also offers a unique 24-hour service, specifically for its onsite/mobile tyre and battery assistance. If you’re stranded, simply call its 24/7 hotline and a mobile team will be dispatched to change or repair your tyre (keeping this in mind!).

Pros

  • 24-hour mobile assistance
  • Wide tyre selection
  • Quality equipment and service

Cons

  • Alignment may not be included in the bundle
  • Extra-busy during weekends

Great service and a friendly guy too

Went there to have my front tyre checked for a suspected puncture, and indeed there was. Got it patched up quickly, and Ah Sin gave some tips and advice as well. $10 for it to be patched up. Great service and a friendly guy too.

Fast and seamless service rendered

Went to do a tyre patch due to a nail. Fast and seamless service rendered. Visit the Serangoon outlet often, but this is the first time to the Tampines outlet. Overall happy with the shop and will visit soon to change tyres.

My colleague once needed a tyre change near Kaki Bukit and chose Stamford Tyres. She found premium brands like Continental, Falken, Dunlop, and even its own Firenza line all in one place, along with Swiss-made rims and batteries.

She got a clear, no-obligations quote upfront, with no hidden fees buried in the fine print. The technicians used a Hunter alignment system and performed a 4-wheel alignment on her car with ease.

Her new tyres came with the standard 3-year manufacturer’s warranty for defects (for brands like Continental and Bridgestone). Her experience mirrors what most online reviews have given the shop: great feedback for both service quality and professionalism.

That said, prices are on the higher side here (around S$170 to $220 per Continental or Bridgestone tyre), compared to just around S$120 to $160 at smaller shops.

She also said the waiting area is functional but basic, so don’t expect plush accommodations while waiting for your tyres.

Pros

  • Extensive tyre and rim selection
  • Transparent fee quotes
  • Trusted warranty
  • High-quality equipment

Cons

  • Premium pricing
  • Basic facilities for clients

Had the fastest service ever

Went over to change 2 of my tyres but changed 4 instead, thanks to the recommendation of the person. Thank god he realised that my other 2 tyres are also balding. Spent $560 for 4 x Falken tyres. Had the fastest service ever. I will definitely recommend this place for friendly service and affordable pricing.

I pulled into the Tyre Shop after a slow puncture scare, and was glad I did. Alongside budget options (which I was looking for), I was happy to see Goodyear, Pirelli, and other brands there in case I want to level up my tyre game.

I got a free WhatsApp quote upfront, with no upsell pressure or hidden costs. The installation, wheel balancing, and torque-wrench tightening were all done cleanly and efficiently, too.

When I read online reviews about the Tyre Shop, phrases like “techs really know their stuff” stand out. I can attest to this, being there in the shop and seeing the staff use factory-grade balancing tools while working on my tyres.

The warranties follow manufacturer’s standards, which is to be expected (usually three years on new ones).

That said, I did wait around 45 minutes for everything to get done. Also, premium brands tend to be priced higher; expect to pay upward of S$160 per tyre here.

Pros

  • Wide tyre selection
  • Free quotes
  • Quality service and equipment

Cons

  • Premium brand pricing
  • No Sunday operations

Customer reviews

Very transparent in pricing

Great experience with the response online and in person. One of the very few with a functioning website and updates, tyre ranges and even pricing listed. Very transparent in pricing. In terms of pricing, this shop stands out if you’re getting Dunlop tyres; prices are one of the best for Dunlop tyres in the market.

They threw in free servicing and services

Had a great experience changing my tyres at Tyre Mart. The price was very reasonable, the team was very professional, and they threw in free servicing and services. Highly recommended.
