Their crew arrived on short notice with efficient, low-noise mowers perfect for Singapore’s humid weather. They even offered eco-friendly disposal and organic lawn treatments that left my place spotless.

I found the pricing fair: S$80 to S$120 for average HDB gardens, with custom quotes for bigger lawns or condos. I was impressed with their punctuality and ability to clean up so well, you’d think the grass cut itself!

They also provide regular maintenance plans and emergency same-day slots, which not many others do. Booking was straightforward via WhatsApp, with clear before-and-after updates sent after each job.

That said, A LOVELIN’s weekend slots fill up fast, so last-minute rescues like mine aren’t always guaranteed. They also charge a small transport fee for far-flung areas like Changi or Lim Chu Kang.

My parents’ lawn had turned into a mini jungle while they were on holiday, and their old push mower didn’t stand a chance. GreenAge Landscaping came through fast, transforming it into a golf green-worthy yard overnight. 

Their crew used quiet electric mowers and precise trimmers, which made the job quick and neighbour-friendly. They also offered soil aeration and edging, explaining to my parents how it helps the grass breathe better in Singapore’s muggy weather.

The rates were around S$100 to S$150 for small to medium gardens, with seasonal, packages and regular upkeep. I was happy to know they offer a senior-friendly maintenance plan to let homeowners schedule recurring cuts without repeated bookings.

Their punctuality and aftercare were also impressive. They bagged the clippings neatly, wiped down the paths, and even shared fertilising tips. My parents were thrilled to see their yard looking like something out of a park brochure.

However, GreenAge’s eco packages cost a bit more due to premium organic materials, such as wood chips and shredded leaf mulch, and neem oil for pest control instead of chemical pesticides. 

Moreover, they only accept online payments, which may be tricky for less tech-savvy clients like my dad.

Thanks to the rainy season, our office lawn had turned into an unintentional forest. We needed to have it cleaned up for potential clients without disrupting work hours, which is when Prince’s Landscape came in looking like a SWAT team for grass.

Their industrial-grade mowers and trimming gear handled the huge compound fast and quietly. The team even managed to edge the pathways and tidy the carpark borders with precision, which impressed our facilities manager.

They managed the somewhat large-scale job with clockwork and were finished before lunchtime. We were also offered a contract-based maintenance, which includes weeding, pruning, and waste disposal.

We got a clear breakdown before, so there were no surprise fees. For reference, pricing is around S$150 to S$300, depending on plot size.

If there’s an issue about this service, it would be that their commercial focus means they’re not ideal for small residential lawns. Also, bookings require at least a week’s notice, so spontaneous cleanups aren’t always possible.

I have grandparents who rely on wheelchairs and mobility devices, so navigating an unkempt front yard meant safety concerns for them. We called up Green Fingers Landscaping, and they came up with a clear plan to trim, level, and smooth things out.

Their crew used precision trimmers and levelling tools to create a neat, low-maintenance lawn that doesn’t look like an obstacle course. They also suggested anti-slip paving and gentle gradients to make the whole space safer without losing its charm.

For grass cutting and landscaping, pricing sits between S$90 and S$130, depending on the size and slope. I liked that they provided itemised quotes upfront, so my grandparents knew exactly what each service covered.

We found the aftercare impressive, too. They cleaned up thoroughly, offered follow-up checks for regrowth, and even recommended plants that won’t overrun the place. The results were both practical and beautiful, providing delightful daily walks for my grandparents.

That said, Green Fingers doesn’t handle large-scale or high-rise landscaping jobs. They also charge a small additional fee for design consultations involving accessibility upgrades.

Did a wonderful job in rejuvenating our garden

Queenie, Michael & their team had done a wonderful job in rejuvenating our garden to make it more senior & wheelchair friendly. We’re pretty proud of our lush condo neighbourhood park, which unfortunately started to look like a wild meadow after weeks of rain. We learned that the HOA tasked Chin Ling Nursery to tackle the job, which they did with the precision of a golf course crew.

Armed with heavy-duty ride-on mowers and industrial trimmers, the team took on grass cutting with a side of weed control and edging along the playground paths. I love how the park looked neat afterwards without losing its charm.

The board was told pricing depended on the park’s size and frequency of cuts, which could be from S$200 to S$400. They also offered maintenance contracts with scheduled visits and seasonal fertilising, which was a huge help for our shared community space.

They managed the waste collection and composting, as well. We love how their practice aligned with Singapore’s (and our community’s) green initiatives.

Do note that Chin Ling’s maintenance arm mainly handles larger outdoor projects, so smaller lawns may not meet their minimum booking requirement.
