Calling all cat lovers in Singapore! This February 22 and 23, there will be an event you definitely don’t want to miss: the Singapore Cat Carnival 2025, hosted by Clubpets. And yes, this event will have lots and lots of cats!
I haven’t attended the previous Cat Carnivals, but I’ve been told that I can expect fun activities like a cat grooming competition and a cat showcase where I can interact with popular cat breeds. This sounds like heaven to me!
This event is open from 10 am to 8 pm on both days, so mark your calendars so that you won’t furr-get!
What to Expect

The ISFC International Cat Grooming Certification and Competition
The ISFC International Cat Grooming Certification and Competition is the main event of the carnival. It’s the one that I’m looking forward to the most.
This competition is the biggest cat grooming competition in Singapore, and it always attracts participants and attendees from other countries, especially Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
This event lets you see cats in the most outlandish and stylish hairstyles (and sometimes, even costumes)! I’m already vibrating with excitement just at that thought.
Breeds of the World Showcase
Another event that I’m looking forward to is the Breeds of the World Showcase. This one is especially exciting because it allows you to observe and interact with popular cat breeds, such as Siberian, British Shorthair, and Maine Coon.
This event will also have a breed talk, where you can learn all about the origins, characteristics, and care requirements of different cat breeds. You can even ask questions, and I’ve already got some ready for these experts.
Hands-on Workshops and Talks, Cat Services
There will be more hands-on workshops and talks happening throughout the Cat Carnival as well. The topics cover all the essential topics about cat ownership, such as cat care, nutrition, and healthcare.
The carnival even has veterinary services available for attendees! You can have a skin and coat consultation (for free!), and if you want to pamper your fur friend, feel free to book their grooming services, including nail trimming and paw pad shaving.
Exclusive Promotions and Unique Products
The Cat Carnival is also the best time for you to stock up on your cat’s needs. There will be exclusive promotions on cat food and other necessities; you can’t pass up on that!
Some vendors will also unveil their new or limited-edition products at the event, so you get to see them before the general public!
How to Get There
By MRT: The Expo and Convention Center is directly linked to the Bayfront MRT Station, so your best bet is to take the Circle Line and disembark at that station. From there, it’s a short walk to the Expo and Convention Center.
By Bus: Ride any of the following buses: 97/97E, 106, 133, 502/502A, 518/518A, NR1, and NR6. Alight at Bus Stop B03509, and walk to the Marina Bay Sands. It should only take a couple of minutes.
By Taxi: Tell your taxi driver to drop you off at Sands Expo and Convention Center Porte Cochere.
