We especially like that you can have the option to choose who you want to deal with your hair. So if you want a more professional approach, you can book their director and even senior director. 

However, since the directors cost extra, you can settle for a regular stylist or a senior stylist, who, if we’re being honest, is also brilliant at what they do. 

They also have an “8 days promise” that lets you share your feedback or concern about your service within 8 days after your visit. And as long as your feedback is valid, Walking on Sunshine will offer to fix it.

In fact, one of our coworkers had a fringe mishap at this very salon, and they very graciously fixed it without any cost. 

It should be noted that the price range at this hair salon is higher than usual given that you’re also paying for the expertise of their stylists and the quality of their hair treatments. 

And with the ongoing demand for Korean-inspired hair, appointment slots are easily filled. But if you’re not in dire need of a haircut or a new hairstyle anytime soon, scheduling your haircare for later dates shouldn’t be a problem.

As for me, I was pretty satisfied with their regular stylist. And I honestly appreciate that they took their time to assess my hair and figure out what cut and style worked best for me.  

When I asked for their famous Korean perm, they suggested a curl pattern that suits my features. 

Let’s just say that I walked out of the salon feeling good about myself. 

One thing that I would like you to be reminded of is that their services are quite pricey. And while I do believe that I got my money’s worth at Baha Hair, it may still be a lot for those that just want a simple haircut. 

But hey, if you want to treat yourself to a big hair blowout, don’t forget to consider this epic hair salon. 

Treating yourself with the Korean-inspired haircut at Aqua Hair may just be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. 

This hair salon’s range of services may not be as extensive compared to the previously mentioned establishments, but what they lack in options, they make up in the quality of their work. 

It’s an added bonus that you can get the hairstyle that you’ve been eyeing for a while without needing to break the bank. A friend of ours who was saving up for a wedding got her hair done here and said that the service was just as good as high-end salons. 

So for those who aren’t willing to splurge, this salon could be perfect for you. 

In fact, if you’re a student aged 18 and below, you can get a haircut for just $45! We think that’s a steal, especially if you’re nicking it from your allowance.

Now, if you need emergency hairstyling in the next four hours for say, an unexpected event that you need to attend to, Aqua Hair does give you the option to make an urgent appointment with them via WhatsApp. 

However, we don’t want you to bank on it since there’s no guarantee that someone has already made an appointment before you. It’s safer to weigh your options just in case they can’t accommodate you. 

Achieving that effortless, wavy hair used to be a difficult feat, but with the help of DuSol Beauty’s expert hairstylists, you can look just like your favorite Korean drama lead. 

One thing that surprised and pleased us the most was the range of Korean perm techniques that DuSol Beauty offers. Who would have thought that there’s more than just one technique? 

But upon browsing their website, there are at least five types of Korean perms that you can get! 

We don’t know about you, but we’re a believer that the more option you have, the more chances you have of getting your desired curl or wave pattern. 

Our friend went there with no idea about Korean perm, and she said that before her hairstylist went through the process, he thoroughly assessed her hair type, texture, and length first. 

You could say that she’s really happy about it, and we are too! 

Do note, however, that DuSol Beauty strictly specializes in Korean perm and scalp treatment. So if you specifically want to get your hair colored or bleached, this salon will unfortunately not accommodate you. 

We also noticed that they don’t have a price list on their website, which is usually found on other salons’ websites. However, given that perms depend on a person’s hair length and texture, they may price their services according to that. 

Fortunately, they’re responsive on their socials and WhatsApp number, and you can easily consult with them. 

Located at the heart of Singapore, Zinc Salon is probably one of the most accessible and recognized Korean hair salons in the country. 

Known for their hairstylists’ expertise in shaping, conditioning, and pre-wedding hair preparations, this salon is perfect if you’re looking to spruce up your hair. 

However, at first glance at their website, one would probably immediately notice that it’s dated. Even the services that they offer aren’t as modern compared to the other salons mentioned in this list. 

And if I’m being honest, it isn’t really what you would associate with establishments that specialize in Korean hair care. 

However, my partner said that the aesthetic of the place and the relatively outdated services didn’t really matter to him because the hairstylist who handled his hair was very skilled. 

So he may not have left that building looking like Song Joong-Ki (his words, not mine!), but he says that his hair made him look younger. And I wholeheartedly agree.  

It also helps that their services are affordable too, so the extra money that he was supposed to spend at the salon was allocated to boba that we both slurped happily.
