The start-up made photovoltaic systems (PV systems) more friendly on the wallet by offering five and 10-year plans, which were inclusive of free maintenance within the payment duration.

So far, clients who have availed of the plans are happy about the service. They were particularly impressed by the design and quality of the solar energy systems. 

One client who was particular about the placement of his solar panels commended the company’s adaptability and professionalism. 

He said he requested minimal corrections after the service presented its design, and Solar AI made the adjustments efficiently.

Sadly, commercial clients are not eligible for the rent-to-own program; they can only either lease the service or buy upfront. 

A business owner we interviewed said that the thing with buying the system upfront was that clients won’t receive a minimum energy guarantee. 

Leasing clients, meanwhile, can expect some return pay if the system does not generate the guaranteed energy output.

That said, our interviewee has not had any issues with his system’s energy output so far.

Know that PMCE (Global) might be more focused on residential services, though. It can explain why most of the feedback we gathered came from homeowners. 

Also, the company has less than 10 years in the industry (seven years to be exact), which might be a bit of a downside for clients who prefer older service providers.

If you don’t mind hiring a young industry player and appreciate a quick response, Macal-Energy might be the ideal service for you. 

Most of the clients we talked with said that aside from its services, they loved that the company has a near-perfect, quick response rate. Most of them got a reply to quote requests within the day.

As for the installation service, the feedback was generally positive. One of the homeowners was particularly impressed with how the company adjusted its PV system design to fit her unconventional house. 

The total cost of the project was higher, but she was willing to pay more for the optimization.

She also said that the aftersales service is satisfying so far and that the energy savings were evident in her recent utility bill.

Meanwhile, a few clients pointed out that the company’s solar energy products are still limited to a few brands. If you prefer sifting through more options, hiring a more senior service provider might be better.

Of course, not all clients are as skilled as our interviewee. If you’re a total beginner on solar energy systems, hiring a full service including planning, design, and installation is the practical option.

Know also that not all customers experienced smooth delivery of their solar panels. A few reported delays in their orders, causing them to readjust their schedule so they’d have enough time to install the systems after arrival.
