Operated by Sime Motors, Auto Selection SG is one of the most popular car dealerships in Singapore, and I think that’s because their collection of accessible and pre-owned cars is exceptional. They have a wide variety of brands, and even though these vehicles are secondhand, they still look and operate like they’re brand new! I can only imagine how rigorous and thorough the auto inspection is here. 

Another reason that many people love getting their cars here is the fact that the dealers are knowledgeable and patient. 

A friend of mine has essentially no knowledge about cars, so she was nervous when she first came here. But one of the dealers came to help her, and she was able to answer all my friend’s questions with ease. Her explanations for each vehicle were clear and succinct. 

This car dealership also has a team of dedicated finance and insurance consultants who will be more than happy to provide you with resources and advice on which financing option will work for you. 

My friend said the process with their financing team was smooth and seamless; even though she had a lot of questions and concerns, everyone still took the time to answer everything. 

Warranty and maintenance services are available here as well, which is good news. From what I’ve heard, the technicians performing the grooming and repair services are meticulous and have great attention to detail, and many of the past clients are satisfied. 

As for the warranty, it’s only for 12 months, which is pretty okay, but considering that other vehicular warranties tend to last between 3 and 5 years, their offering pales in comparison. 

Last but not least, this dealership offers trade-in services. If you have a car you’d like to sell off, just head to the dealership where a procurement team will evaluate your vehicle and offer you the most attractive trade-in prices! If you don’t have the time to do this, you can choose to call and have the team come to your house instead.

Let’s start with the website. It’s clean and straightforward, and right off the bat, it asks you what kind of car you’re looking for: Do you want something new or used? What’s your maximum budget? And what type of car do you want? 

This straightforward design eliminates any confusion for the client; instantly, they can start their search, even without the help of a dealer. 

In addition to the impressive lineup of new and used vehicles, this dealership offers a wide range of services. You can renew your COE here, book an LTA or EV solution, or get your car refurbished. 

They even offer professional car photography services as well. And if you want to get rid of your car, you can also sell it to them.

I also really like the warranty coverage being offered at this dealership. It lasts for 3–5 years, covers 80+ vehicle parts and components, and offers 24-hour roadside recovery islandwide. They also have authorised workshops located all over Singapore, just in case you need a repair or some other service. 

Oh, and best of all, their warranty is modification-friendly; in other words, you’re allowed to modify some parts of your vehicle—the perfect way to add personality to it! 

That said, keep in mind that the modifications have to be done at any of the approved workshops and are approved by the LTA.

Talking to a dealer here is also smooth and hassle-free. They’re well-staffed, so even if you just come here without any prior appointment, someone is free to assist you. Many of the former clients I talked to really appreciated that. 

The pricing is also great here. It’s pretty competitive, and it’s transparent too, so the price they quote you is what you have to pay. If you don’t think you can afford it immediately, don’t worry because they offer a wide variety of financing options for you.

The extensive collection may come off as intimidating to most people because there are a lot of options, but fortunately, the staff of dealers is here to help you narrow down your choices. They’re professional and understanding and take the time to answer all of your questions. 

According to my aunt, her dealer was ready to give a detailed and thorough overview of every vehicle that caught her eye, and she appreciated that, since she knew next to nothing about cars. 

Another thing that many past customers have liked about this dealership is their warranty. It lasts for a whopping 10 years and has extensive coverage, plus it gives you access to free services from any authorised Royal Motor Grandeur centre across the country. 

The prices here tend to be more affordable compared to their competitors, which is another positive. They also offer financing options and special promotions like first-month free instalments!

The only downside is that they’re not pretty clear about the terms of the special promos. Many former clients have told me that they expected the promos to cover every vehicle, but apparently, this isn’t the case. 

This problem isn’t much of a deal-breaker, since it can be solved easily with communication, but I do wish the dealers would clarify it right from the start to avoid any confusion in the future.

Technically, CarTimes Automobile is a place where you can sell your car, and I hear great things about these services: the car valuation is quick and thorough, and sellers get paid pretty fast too (usually on the same day as the team inspects your car). But you can also buy cars here, and I also hear that the process is just as amazing. 

First things first, the team here is lovely and helpful. They answer all your questions and try to recommend vehicles that best fit your unique needs. 

One of their former clients shared that their dealer even went out of his way to hand over their preferred car on his day off. They didn’t have to do this, but the client appreciated the gesture.

The selection of vehicles is pretty good, too. It’s not as varied or as extensive as their competitors, but they still have a decent array of used and new cars—and from well-known brands, too, like Honda, Hyundai, and Kia. 

The perks of buying a new car here are excellent as well. You’ll automatically get your COE, and the warranty lasts for 10 years and has extensive coverage. 

They also have workshops where you can get services like refurbishment and maintenance check-ups for free. 

That said, these perks, including the warranty, are only available for new cars. You can’t enjoy the same benefits if you only purchase a used car from this dealership.

CarTimes also offers financing options, and the best part is that the interest rates are low—less than 5%. If you have any questions regarding their financing options, don’t hesitate to ask your dealers. They’ll be more than happy to help you out.

When I did my research for this article, Car World Automobile kept popping up. It seemed like it’s popular among the general market, and it also won awards from institutions like SME 500 Singapore. Of course, I was intrigued enough to dig deeper. 

After asking some of the dealership’s past customers, I’ve narrowed down what people like about this place. The main thing is that the dealers here are patient and knowledgeable. 

According to clients, the dealers are truly interested in helping out the customers, not just pushing for a sale. They’re prompt when answering questions, and when a customer changes their mind, the dealer goes along with no fuss and recommends another vehicle.

The array of vehicles is also noteworthy. You can find a ton of new models from popular Korean, Japanese, and other Continental brands. If you can’t afford these new models, don’t worry because the dealership also offers many used cars, all of them from well-known brands as well.

Once you’ve chosen the car you want, the buying process is smooth. The price they quote you is the price you’ll pay—no hidden costs at all. And if you can’t afford the full price, you can avail of their car financing services. Feel free to negotiate the terms of their financing loan. Your dealer will happily help you out. 

The perks don’t stop after your purchase. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your vehicle, you can reach out to their customer support, who will assist you any time—yes, even outside office hours! 

The dealership has its own workshop as well, so if you’re truly worried that something’s wrong with your car, you can just head there and have it checked. 

They also have a warranty, which is great. But this warranty only lasts a total of eight months, which is pretty bad compared to the warranties offered by their competitors. At least, this warranty covers all cars purchased here—in other words, both new and used.
