The same goes for their service lineup. Protecting events, properties, and people through physical security and smart tech is what they do best.

Speaking of tech, many consider their surveillance game to be first-class, thanks to AI-powered CCTVs manufactured by premium brands such as TP-Link and Dahua. 

Booking ahead is highly suggested, though. Many clients drop by their office or call the 24/7 helpline even on weekdays.

A fair portion of their portfolio also leans toward residential, commercial, and industrial security. That may be a minor hitch if you prefer an agency focusing more on safeguarding events.

If that’s not a deal-breaker, you’ll find Deep Security Manpower reliable. They have a sizeable workforce for gatherings of all sizes, with fully certified and trained guards running things.

Among HRS Security’s main advantages is having services that others don’t provide. You see, not all local agencies come with mobile units that can patrol an event’s premises and marshals who can minimise traffic.

Their gear is noteworthy, too. While drone monitoring isn’t offered (these drone rental companies can help instead), AI, access control systems, motion detectors, and analytics are employed to enhance surveillance and response times.

Auditing is one more area they excel at. We met clients who praised their detailed risk analysis, staff training programs, infrastructure review, and system integration.

The neat part is that their auditing crew usually arrives on time. Some interviewees even claimed they rocked up way ahead of schedule.

Like our last entry, however, you’re competing with several people for slots or appointments, and it’s no different on weekdays. The round-the-clock support eases things, but it can still get busy.

Old but gold is one way of summing up Armour Security. Opening in 2005, they’re our longest-running pick.

You could also call them one of the most well-manned agencies in Singapore. Over 80 guards make up their workforce, all with police or military backgrounds.

That’s why organisers usually call them for large-scale events with less-than-easy-to -manage crowds, including affairs with over ten thousand attendees.

Armour Security’s clients stay for the long term, too. One interviewee, for example, has been hiring them for functions since 2017.

Where they lag behind is in gear. Surveillance is covered, yes, but the tech isn’t as cutting-edge as what others have.

Calling ASAP is a must, too, given they’re incredibly sought-after for large jobs, like cluster guarding.

The upside is that you can phone them anytime, their staff normally responds fast, and they address concerns professionally.

Arktos is a flexible agency. You’ve probably seen their licensed officers managing crowds or acting as emergency responders for private shindigs, sports events, festivals, concerts, and exhibitions before.

Providing clients with ad hoc ASOs (Authorised Security Officers) for traffic control is also part of what they do. That’s a huge advantage for people attending or hosting large events with heavy vehicle and pedestrian flow.

Tech-wise, they’re not too bad at all. A central command centre monitors all operations either through wired or wireless CCTVs.

A few upgrades wouldn’t hurt, though, especially with most agencies already moving into smart surveillance and drones.

It’s also worth knowing that Arktos is our newest pick in terms of opening year (2023). The rest have been running for at least half a decade.

On a brighter note, the clients we spoke with all described the agency’s guards as friendly and non-intrusive.
