Bolly Dancing Studio in Singapore delivers an authentic experience that brings modern rhythms straight from Mumbai, making it a vibrant choice for anyone drawn to Bollywood-style movement.

Bolly Dancing Studio in Singapore is especially welcoming for absolute beginners, creating a comfortable space where you can learn without feeling judged or overwhelmed.

The studio is also a trusted government partner, which speaks to their credibility and reliability.

Beyond dance, they feature globally certified fitness programs that they’ve designed in-house, adding a unique wellness angle to their classes.

When I tried one of their fusion sessions that blends Pilates with upbeat music, the workout kept me fully energized from start to finish.

Unfortunately, the dance studio focuses entirely on a single genre, so you won’t find styles like contemporary or hip hop here.

Pros

  • Central location near major transit hubs
  • Full amenities including shower rooms
  • Progressive choreography broken into blocks
  • Flexible physical and virtual booking

Cons

  • Single genre focus limits style variety
  • Tight buffers between back-to-back rentals

En Motion Dance School offers a structured, community-driven way to learn dance, especially if you’re starting from scratch and want strong fundamentals.

The school also builds a strong social element through weekly parties, giving dancers a chance to practice in a relaxed, real-world setting while meeting others with the same interest.

With highly decorated regional champions as instructors, En Motion Dance School focuses first on rhythm and core technique before layering in more advanced moves.

Instead of needing a partner, students can join in solo and still fully participate, which makes the learning process much more accessible.

Beyond the studio, En Motion Dance School has been featured in mainstream media and works with major corporate clients, highlighting its established presence in the scene.

The only catch is that their training is tightly focused on Street Latin styles, like salsa and bachata, so other genres aren’t offered. T

  • Highly qualified champion instructors
  • Weekly social parties for immediate practice
  • Affordable single trial session options

Very patient and supportive

I joined EN Motion for the salsa beginner class and had a great time. Instructor Gary is an amazing teacher, and the other instructors are very patient and supportive too. They also offer bachata, cha cha, and other fun dance lessons. It’s a wonderful activity to enjoy with your partner or friends. I always enjoy my dance sessions here. Highly recommended! 💃🕺

Everyone is really friendly

Absolutely love taking salsa and bachata classes here! Everyone is really friendly, and the instructors are very willing to teach and clearly passionate about their craft. The studio also has a positive culture and great community!

Hours:

  • Monday & Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

An elite global founding team shapes this studio, creating a strong artistic environment, especially for those exploring structured ballet schools. The Dance Place focuses on inclusivity, offering toddler sessions as well as beginner tracks for older adults.

A friend of mine who attends classes here often highlights the spacious studios and supportive community. The facility even features professional sprung floors designed to reduce impact and protect joints during training.

Aside from classical training, students can explore styles like adult vogue and musical theatre jazz, helping them build versatility and confidence.

I like that each student is given the chance to perform in the annual recital, which adds valuable stage experience and helps strengthen self-assurance.

However, weekend class options are limited for busy adults.

It’s also worth noting that the school places less emphasis on formal examination tracks, and that could matter for those specifically seeking certification-focused ballet schools.

Pros

  • Shock absorbing sprung floors for safety
  • Clear skill and age progression tracks
  • Guaranteed annual performance opportunities
  • Free zero obligation trial sessions

Cons

  • Limited weekend options for adults
  • No explicit formal syllabus pathways

Customer Reviews:

I feel her love and passion for dancing is very contagious

Went for the trial class and definitely love the teacher, the class and the studio. When I took the trial class from Alyssa, I feel her love and passion for dancing is very contagious. The couple came to SG in 2006 and chose Singapore as their home since then. Everybody in the studio looks like they are the better (if not best) version of themselves. I feel they really brought the dancing experience for the dance lovers to the next level.

So grateful to be part of this wonderful dance family

This dance school is more than just a place to learn dance, it’s where passion, discipline, and confidence are nurtured. The teachers’ professionalism and genuine care make every lesson inspiring. So grateful to be part of this wonderful dance family!

5.  O School

Address: GR.iD #05-01/02 1 Selegie Road

Contact: 828-587-07

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

L5 by O School operates as a co-sharing hub for independent creatives, and it brings a lot of energy into the local arts district. It’s run by a registered charity, so the focus goes straight back into supporting street dancers and emerging artists.

The studio is fully dedicated to urban dance genres, so expect something more high-energy and performance-driven. If you’re thinking more along the lines of a gentle workout like yoga, this isn’t quite that vibe.

Meanwhile, beginners are still very welcome. Their structured 8-week foundation courses give you a solid, supportive starting point without feeling overwhelming.

Once you graduate, they even offer free open class credits, which helps you ease into regular training without extra cost.

It also plays a big role in regional dance events and competitions, allowing you to see major cultural projects happening there.

Pros

  • Clear difficulty tiering for open classes
  • Highly structured progressive beginner courses
  • Wallet friendly package pricing options
  • Central location in major arts district

Cons

  • Strictly focused on urban genres
  • Rigid enrollment timelines for terms

Customer Reviews:

Takes good care of everyone

My first experience here has been amazing.

The team is very welcoming, attentive, and truly takes good care of everyone.

There are many diverse classes, the instructors are great, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. 🙏🏻 …

Different genres/styles

Great place to dance and find community. There are 4 studios and 1 mini-hall with different genres/styles. Note there is also a space/hall at S.C.A.P.E at somerset so sometimes classes are held there.

Classes usually start at 7 and 8:30.
