Pros
- Wide range of reformer Pilates exercises
- Friendly and attentive instructors
- Easy-to-use booking system
Cons
- Limited solo class package options
- Slots fill up fast
We recommend Pilates Fitness for people who love a challenge, as this studio focuses on Reformer Pilates routines.
This Pilates type primarily uses reformer machines, which add resistance to the exercises.
As such, clients can choose from several types of reformer sessions to achieve specific goals such as weight loss or core strengthening.
Several clients who opted for the reformer weight loss class said that while a bit tough, the exercises are downright refreshing. A few of them noticed improvements after three to four sessions, too!
They also appreciate their instructors being attentive throughout the sessions, correcting their postures, and providing tips whenever necessary.
Others said they love the online booking system as it is user-friendly and glitch-free. However, they admitted that getting a slot, especially for group classes, is difficult due to the place’s popularity.
As for group classes, Pilates Fitness limits the size to ten students, which we found is acceptable.
However, the class size might not work for clients who prefer more focused guidance during sessions, though. Fortunately, solo classes are available.
The solo class options are rigid, though, as you can only choose between a drop-in or a 15-session package.

Pros
- High-quality Pilates equipment
- Friendly bilingual instructors
- Spacious and well-lit studio
- Great location
Cons
- Leans on the expensive side
- Some may find the minimum number of sessions not ideal
SmartFit Pilates is a great option thanks to its state-of-the-art equipment, light and airy studio, and knowledgeable instructors.
The studio has plenty of Pilates equipment, including mats, Cadillacs, Wunda chairs, and reformer machines.
Many of the clients said that on top of the high-quality equipment, the studio is a comfortable place thanks to its ample lighting (both artificial and natural), calming interior colors, and spacious exercise areas.
They said it’s unlike other exercise studios that are stuffy.
One of our team members who has been looking to try Pilates for a while now took advantage of SmartFit’s 50% discount for a trial private session.
She said her experience was remarkable. Her instructor pointed out posture issues right from the get-go and supplied helpful tips to correct them.
She’s originally from Korea, so she asked for a Korean-speaking instructor to guide her. She said talking to a fitness instructor in her mother tongue was fun and refreshing!
However, she thinks the one-time private session (from $145) is pricey. She said it’s better to avail of the studio’s bundled offers ($130 per session for five sessions) or opt for the group classes ($54 per session for ten sessions).
That said, the total payment is still high (from $500), as you need to pay for all the sessions before availing of the bundle.
We also think the minimum number of sessions per bundle is a tad too high compared to other Pilates studios offering three-session packages.
3. Line Pilates

Pros
- Reasonable session fees
- Plenty of Pilates equipment options
- Studio has a welcoming vibe
- Central location
Cons
- No in-studio changing rooms
- Group class size may not be conducive for learning
Line Pilates’ reasonable rates and many pricing options make it an ideal studio for budget-conscious clients.
The session rates are most favorable for beginners (three-session starter packages start at $150) and regulars attending group classes ($55 per session).
Furthermore, the studio offers private 40 and 60-session packages that you can share with one other person.
A few clients prefer this option, as the per-session rate (starts at $112.50) is far cheaper than the average $130.
However, the packages are valid for six months, making it an ideal option only for committed clients who can attend Pilates classes weekly.
As for the sessions, clients shared with us that their Pilates routines are satisfying, thanks to a wide range of equipment available and their ever-attentive and knowledgeable instructors.
However, a few had to switch to the slightly pricier private classes, as they found the eight-person class size inconducive for optimal learning.
One of the clients even complained that she didn’t catch everything the instructor said during one group class. Fortunately, she received clear instructions when she switched to private.
Also, we find it disappointing that the studio has no changing rooms and restrooms. Clients said they had to use the facilities of the mall where the studio is located instead.

Pros
- Highly customized Pilates session
- Amiable, efficient instructors
- Gorgeous studio space
Cons
- Pricey
- Small classes may not be motivating for some
People who prefer one-on-one, personalized Pilates sessions may find Pilates Smith’s tailored exercises and limited class size appealing.
Unlike many studios that accept six to ten people per class, Smith keeps it small at a maximum of three people.
The studio explains that limiting their students allows for in-depth exploration of each client’s needs, which leads to optimal results.
Many clients shared that the studio’s instructors are spot-on in correcting postures and fixing poses. The instructors also provide detailed, tailored tips, helping students improve faster.
Some were impressed with how the instructors adjust the workout intensity to their exact liking— not too hard nor too easy but still challenging and satisfying.
They added that they didn’t experience the same when joining Pilates group classes at other studios, saying that the intensity level was either too low or too high for them.
However, Smith’s classes lean on the expensive side.
One of our team members who went ahead with a trial class said the $98 introductory price was relatively high. Regular classes are also pricey, starting at $160 for a one-time solo class.
Also, we think the small class size may not be preferable if being surrounded by many people doing the same workout motivates you more.

Pros
- Group classes accommodate all skill levels
- Warm and attentive instructors
- Three studios in Singapore
Cons
- Possible overcrowding
- Group classes don’t have a fixed schedule
Clients who love working out with others will have a field day with Options Pilates Studio’s wide range of group classes.
The studio’s group sessions cater to all skill levels, so you won’t have to worry if you’re a fledgling Pilates fan.
Sessions ideal for all levels include mat and reformer Pilates, freestyle Pilates, and Pilates bounce. Workouts on the mat and reformer are also available for intermediate and advanced students.
Clients who joined the group classes said they got to use props such as flex bands and Bosu balls, making sessions extra fun.
They added that the instructors are warm and friendly.
One of our team members who’s been into Pilates for a year now shared that the studio’s instructors impress her the most.
She said they attend to all students despite her ten-person class size, ensuring all postures are correct and providing instructions to improve each student’s form.
However, she commented that the studio is sometimes overcrowded during simultaneous group classes.
She also finds it inconvenient that group class schedules aren’t fixed. She said she had to wait up to a month for her favorite Pilates session to open, affecting her momentum.
