Stay audit-ready with the best HR Management Systems in Singapore!

User-Friendliness: We did trials and demo walkthroughs to determine the score for this.

We prioritised features like a clean interface and minimal onboarding time, ensuring that even a first-time user can manage tasks involving records, approvals, or leave credits.

Unsurprisingly, we deducted some points from systems with a history of crashing or glitching.

Automated Solutions: We opted for systems with automated reminders or rubric templates for performance grading.

Efficient reporting or tracking was also heavily considered, and for this one, we leaned on feedback and experience.

Moreover, systems that automatically report training requirements, absences, and salary costs were prioritised. If the software can handle more automated tasks, it received higher points.

Seamless Integration: We tested how well the candidates synced with other business systems, mainly those for payroll or biometrics.

Efficient Customer Service: To test speed, clarity, and helpfulness, we reached out to support teams via chat, email, and phone calls. Extra points were given to those who offered dedicated account managers or onboarding guides.

Politeness and reviews from long-term users were also factored in.

Cost Efficiency: Lastly, we compared pricing tiers and plans, taking into account the base price and features offered at each level. Transparency was also assessed and scored based on feedback.

Working in an HR department without a management system nearly turned all my hair white. We were losing documents and making tax errors.

And don’t get me started on the payroll and employee mismanagement; I was drained by Monday noon.

Fortunately, my next job had proper HR software. Data was centralised, and the automated tasks meant no more chasing spreadsheets or people just to get the correct info.

Now, if you’re thinking ‘that’s what my company needs,’ then good news. We determined and reviewed the best choices in Singapore.

Remote’s software is award-winning, recognised by G2 as one of the top 50 HR and Top 50 Mid-Market Products of 2025.

Functionally, it’s strong. The interface is simple, and data is centralised, so we get to manage contracts, payrolls, and more in one platform.

We like the 24/7 support team as well. Our calls were picked up promptly, and in our tests, emails were returned in under an hour.

That said, a few long-term clients mentioned that the support team’s info can be inconsistent. ‘Some reps are more informed than others’ was how they put it.

On the upside, Remote is a fantastic pick for global hiring. In fact, international brands like Maersk, Soundcloud, and Doordash use the software to manage global compliance and teams.

Pricing is also fair. It’s S$23 per employee a month, which is fairly mid-range for Singapore.

Costs, though, can be higher if you’re hiring in a country where you don’t have an entity.

Pros

  • Part of G2’s Top 50 HR and Mid-Market Products
  • 24/7 support
  • Centralised data/fully automated
  • Mobile access
  • Trusted by large companies like DoorDash
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Free demos

Cons

  • Inconsistent support
  • Higher costs if used in a country without a local entity

Easy to Use

Very satisfied! All is taken care of very well @Remote. Easy to use account and app for time tracking, time off & (public) holidays, expenses & payments. If not clear, then just mail them and get immediate support. Thanks Remote!

Payboy, with its ISO 27001, is an appealing choice if you’re huge on information security.

The number of tasks it automates is also another reason it’s worthy of a shot. Payroll, leaves, claims, attendance, and scheduling can all be managed there.

Having lots of easy-to-use and free tools boosted their case, too. Our HR team was able to calculate overtime pay and salary proration without paying extra.

Better yet, prices are low and flexible, as you only pay for what you use. A 5-man company that only needs payroll management will pay lower fees than a 10-man business using two or more solutions.

Customer service and after-sales support aren’t the company’s strongest side, though. Not every feature was explained to us (like the migration service), and responses could take weeks, as some clients pointed out.

Users have also reported instances of crashes and glitches when using the mobile app.

Pros

  • ISO 27001
  • Free HR tools and demo
  • Reasonable prices
  • Create-your-own plan

Cons

  • Not the best after-sales support
  • History of glitches and crashes (mobile app)

Great Value and Reliability

We have been using Payboy for payroll and HR management… saves us time with automated payroll and tax calculations and the customer support team is responsive and helpful. Overall, Payboy offers great value and reliability.

If you’re running a smaller business, Frontier’s e-HR system can save you cash. You see, the company provides a 50% discount to SMEs that operate in Singapore.

Beyond that, the software’s solution list is bulky. Over ten tasks are automated, and there are perks some entries don’t provide, like travel and survey management.

The one that served us best, though, was the talent management system, mainly because almost everything is there, primarily appraisal, OJT, applicant tracking, and onboarding/offboarding solutions.

One issue, however, is that their payroll outsourcing focuses on Southeast Asian countries, a limitation for those outside the region.

It would also be convenient if they offered an online tool for calculating fees, like what most here do.

Otherwise, they hold up well. The consultants pick up immediately, and many clients praise the staff’s product knowledge and patience, with Alia getting most of the props.

Pros

  • Has an ISO 27001
  • Offers a 50% discount to SMEs
  • Long service list
  • Trusted by companies like 7/11
  • Multi-country HR and payroll support for SEA countries

Cons

  • Not the best fit for those outside SEA
  • No online tool for fee calculation

Professional and Knowledgeable

We engaged Frontier as our company’s payroll outsource services. Alia is always professional and knowledgeable… always equipped with her findings and options for her customer.

JustLogin is a solid choice if you value the experience of the software provider. In this case, that’s 25-plus years.

We saw that experience reflected in the system’s customisability. During the demo, we were allowed to personalise the dashboard with tools or widgets we personally deemed to be essential.

The mobile-first approach is another decision many users appreciate. Employees can simply scan their face to clock in/out, and managers can manage expenses or leaves all on their phones.

Stress-free payroll management is another massive perk. The feature adheres to Singapore’s statutory requirements, and payslip calculation/IRA submissions are handled accurately within seconds.

However, it’s not perfect. For one, clients say it’s not the easiest to learn, operate, or set up, chiefly for non-tech-savvy users.

Some also pointed out that the software has a tendency to load slowly.

Pros

  • Experienced (25 years)
  • Great customisation options
  • Mobile-first approach
  • Focus on payroll management
  • Has international clients like Owndays (Japan)

Cons

  • Complicated for newbies
  • Tends to load slowly

Improved the Workflow

I’ve had a great experience using this HRM software… everything is well-organized and easy to access. It has definitely improved the workflow and saved a lot of time.

Since we’ve talked about laurels before, it’s only right that we include QuickHR. During the 2023 HR Vendor of the Year Awards, their software gained recognition for its tracking, HR management, payroll, and attendance systems.

Naturally, we gave it a shot, and the product was easy to use and responsive, with one of the most straightforward UIs on this list.

Our team was also impressed with the range. If you fully pay for everything, you’ll get about 15 services, which is probably why brands like Unilever and Jetstar use it.

What’s more, the prices are low for Singapore’s standards. Essential solutions like leaves, claims, and report management only cost S$5 per employee a month.

As for snags, their support team isn’t flawless. We chatted with users who voiced concerns about getting rude reps.

Furthermore, some have been promised callbacks only to not get anything even after a week of waiting.

Pros

  • Awarded for their HR management systems & more (2023)
  • Low prices (starts at S$5)
  • 14-day free trial
  • 15-plus solutions
  • Has established clients like Jetstar

Cons

  • Some rude reps
  • Unreturned calls

Reliable and User-Friendly

I have used this for about 3 years now… I would recommend to others to try this out. It is reliable and user-friendly… Eugene and Sainath… you are an asset to the company.
