However, as much as we’d like to say that their service is for everyone, we found out that their fees are high. So for those who don’t have the capacity to splurge, this company might not be suitable for you.

We scoured their website for packages that could cost lower than the basic services they offer, but we weren’t successful. In fact, they’re not publicly transparent with their pricing.

While we generally appreciate face-to-face interactions, especially for things that involve crucial decision-making, this kind of arrangement could pose a hassle to those who are busy or live far away from their office.

When we inquired about their packages, they also, unfortunately, revealed that they don’t offer packages since their services are tailor-made for every client.

Still, we believe that The Interior Lab is worth looking into, especially since their designs are truly top-notch.

We really appreciate that the interior designers at Charlotte’s Carpentry are hands-on. 

In fact, even before the actual renovation, their interior designers will walk you through conceptualizing and even offer to go with you to find the perfect décor for your space.

However, services where an interior designer is thoroughly involved don’t necessarily come cheap, and Charlotte’s Carpentry is not one to charge any lower than $38,000 for a 68-sqm space.

And since they also charge you depending on the renovation you want to be done to your space, this company doesn’t offer packages with fixed rates.

So if you’re not willing to shell out big bucks to spruce up a small space, cross this one out of your list. 

The Alchemists prides themselves on being an award-winning renovation company in Singapore, and we understand why.

For starters, contrary to the emerging trend of minimalistic designs, this company isn’t scared to go out of its comfort zone when it comes to beautifying your space.

We love that while The Alchemists Design dabbles in pastels, dark paints, and even unconventional decors and furniture, they still manage to make different elements appear cohesive.

For us, this doesn’t just make an aesthetically pleasing space, but it’s also a testament to their talent.

Now when it comes to scheduling an appointment with them, it’s actually fairly easy to do so since they have a “Make an Appointment” portion on their website. It only requires a few minutes of your time to fill out the necessary details.

However, they don’t offer a quotation tool on their website.

Their website also doesn’t have a tab that indicates the pricelist of their services. Although, they do have renovation packages for their customers with the prices stated on their Facebook page

So as much as we like The Alchemist Design’s style, the aforementioned observations are just some things you need to look out for.

First off, because it was established two decades ago, one would assume that this company would stick to traditional designs. However, they actually match their style according to trends.

We really like that they’re not afraid to incorporate bold design choices when it comes to sprucing up a space and making it work in the end! For us, this is proof that they really know what they’re doing.

They’re also very efficient workers and can more or less finish a project in less than eight weeks.

Of course, the previously mentioned timeframe doesn’t apply to all of their projects, especially big ones, but it sets an expectation that they’re organized down to the very last detail.

Now while all may seem up to standard, we’re actually bummed that we can’t convey the same optimism when it comes to their customer service.

While we understand that interior design projects take a while, you really have to send them an inquiry months before your planned renovation. In fact, just to secure their commitment with you, make it a year before your planned renovation.

They’re also not publicly transparent with their pricing, which makes budgeting difficult.

The only catch here is that they do not have the starting prices of their services on their website. So make sure to inquire regarding this before availing any of their services.
