The 5 Best Global Tailors in Singapore for the Perfect Fit Anywhere

Measurement and Fitting Process: A suit only looks sharp if the cut matches your posture and shoulder slope. We checked how each shop takes measurements and guides clients through design details during consultations.

Fabric Selection and Sourcing: Singapore heat punishes heavy, synthetic linings, whilst overseas business trips often call for heavier wool. Our team looked at the variety of cloths and mill partnerships each shop stocks in the showroom.

Global Access and Delivery: Frequent flyers and expats rarely have time to wait around for multiple unscheduled fittings. We evaluated which tailors handle overseas orders, international shipping, or multi-city fitting records.

Garment Range and Versatility: Some clients need a wedding tuxedo, whilst others want rental backups. We compared each provider's catalogue across bespoke suits, women's wear, ready-to-wear pieces, and alterations.

Booking Convenience and Hours: It’s tough to get a fitting between office hours. We checked weekend availability, walk-in rules, and appointment systems so you know how far ahead to plan.

Buying an off-the-rack suit right before a major work trip usually ends in stiff shoulders and sleeves that bunch at the wrist. Nobody feels sharp walking into a boardroom or wedding hall in a jacket cut for a mannequin.

It’s tricky getting a proper fit if you travel often or need your order shipped abroad after a quick visit. But don’t worry, our team looked for the best global tailors in Singapore for precise tailoring, every single time.

Ehkay Corner Tailors has shaped bespoke garments since the 1980s, pairing traditional cutting with modern styling so you get timeless attire for any event.

Their consultation is thorough. Their tailor will walk you through fabric weights and design details step by step instead of rushing the measurements. This hands-on guidance makes it easy to order custom suits, ready-to-wear pieces, or wedding rentals.

They also process overseas orders for clients outside Singapore, which saves expats and international visitors from flying back just to refresh their work wardrobe.

Walk-ins depend on availability, though, so dropping by Orchard Plaza unannounced on a busy afternoon might mean waiting around. We suggest booking a slot ahead of time to secure your appointment.

Pros

  • Bespoke tailoring heritage since the 1980s
  • Step-by-step guidance on fabrics and design details
  • Custom suits, ready-to-wear, and rental options
  • Overseas orders available for clients outside Singapore

Cons

Would recommend for a warm fuss free tailoring experience

Warm friendly and responsive. Dinesh provided advise and recommendations in a very personable and non-insistent manner. He gets a cutter to come in  to do the measurements and has precut garments for you to try to help better envision how the fit would be like. The final fitting was also very fuss free and both gentlemen were also present to ensure a good fit. They also assured me that they could make alterations if I gained weight or size before the event. Would recommend for a warm fuss free tailoring experience.

Dinesh is professional, patient and communicates well

Tailoring a suit with Ehkay was a walk in a park. Dinesh systematically explained every details we have to consider when making a suit. When we went down to collect the suit, it  fitted perfectly and no further alternation was needed. Dinesh is professional, patient and communicates well. We’ll definitely look for him again when we need to make more suits. We highly recommend Ehkay for men’s suits.

Hours: Monday to Sunday: By appointment

Edit Suits Co. runs made-to-measure showrooms in Singapore. They’re a smart pick for frequent flyers, as they also have showrooms in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and Zürich.

Their Singapore team logs over 30 body measurements and puts you in try-on garments so you can see the final fit before any cloth is cut.

Style-conscious buyers can choose premium fabrics from respected mills like Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Holland & Sherry, and Dormeuil. You can get a tailored business suit, tuxedo, linen jacket, or chino.

The catch is that made-to-measure orders take three to five weeks to be made. And unfortunately, they only make men’s clothing.

Pros

  • Over 30 body measurements with try-on garments
  • Fabrics from Loro Piana, Zegna, and Dormeuil
  • Wide range of business, linen, and chino

Cons

  • 3 to 5 weeks wait for made-to-measure garments
  • Men’s tailoring only

You can immediately provide feedback on the fit that you want

I was served by Ms. Juriani, who was very helpful and suggested various options for my 2 piece suit and pants. They have nice computer software enabled sizing process and you can immediately try on your closest sizes for the fit , just after measurements. This is very helpful as you can immediately provide feedback on the fit that you want. Just ordered another two shirts during my fitting trial.

Had a great experience with Edit Suits Co. Singapore.

This would be the go-to for all my future uniform needs

Great place for chef uniforms. They were of high quality at extremely great value. Zoella was very helpful & friendly, a far cry from the usual grumpy aunties in Chinatown. No doubt this would be the go-to for all my future uniform needs.

The product was made of high quality material finished with excellent workmanship

I bought a black Martis Demko for my hubby. The additional 2 lines indicating his name and business name turned out beautifully. The product was made of high quality material finished with excellent workmanship. Highly recommended! Will be looking forward for the next purchase 😁 …
