Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the celebrations have to stop. On February 22, 2025, you can enjoy a (belated) Valentine’s Day at Tanjong Rhu Waterfront—this time, with your pets as your date!
The Furever Valentine’s Day Walk is the first-ever event of its kind in Singapore. There’s a lot of fun in store for us: a long scenic walk by the waterfront, a dog adoption drive, and delicious food for both humans and pets!
And the best part is that admission is free! You’ll just have to pay for the curated menu.

Sunset Walk and Adoption Drive
In my opinion, the best way to start your Furever Valentine’s Day Walk is to, well, walk your dog along Tanjong Rhu Waterfront. There will be other people and pets too, so it’s the perfect time to socialise and make friends.
Additionally, if you arrive around 5 pm, you might have the chance to watch the sunset during your walk. Prepare your phone or camera to snap a picture!
Along the waterfront, you’ll come across a stall operated by Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD). The organisation will be holding an adoption drive, so feel free to say hi to the adorable dogs and puppies. You might even feel motivated to adopt another furbaby!
Curated Picnic Menu
The highlight of the event is the picnic experience after the walk. It will be held at Kontiki, a pet-friendly restaurant and bar located at PAssion WaVe at Marina Bay. It’s overlooking the Marina Bay skyline, so you have a gorgeous view to enjoy while eating your food!
Speaking of food, the menu offers several dishes that are designed for both humans and dogs, so your pets can eat whatever you order.
I’m excited to indulge in a BBQ chicken burger or beef spaghetti bolognese. Meanwhile, I’m sure my golden retriever will be drooling at the sight of the Premium Beef Mince Pawbowl!
You can purchase the food on the day of, but if you want to ensure you’ll get your preferred dish before it runs out, you can preorder instead.
An Event Bundle
Since this is Singapore’s first-ever Furever Valentine’s Day Walk, you might want to commemorate the experience.
One way you can do this is by getting the event bundle, which comes with a T-shirt (for you) and a bandana (for your dog), a goody bag, and a donation to the beneficiaries. Getting a memento and supporting a cause at the same time? Sounds fantastic to me!
How to Get There
The best way to get to the Tanjong Rhu Waterfront is by taking the bus. Ride Bus 14 (ideally, from Raffles Hotel) and disembark at KiddiWinkie S/H Mountbatten. From there, walk to the waterfront, which should only take about 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can also ride the MRT. Take the Circle Line, and stop at Mountbatten Station. From there, the walk to the waterfront is around 15 minutes.
