Rehair Lab’s charm is in its use of natural hair for the replacement system, which we think is a must-try.

One of our team members availed of the service, and he loved how the studio accommodated him.

Particularly, booking an appointment was a breeze. He got a call from Rehair within the day to confirm his schedule. 

On session day, he was welcomed gracefully and had no fuss starting the hair assessment. He also observed that the studio’s interiors were elegant and neat, making for a comfortable session.

That said, he thought that the result itself needs a little bit of work. 

He did find a matching toupee for his particular hair loss problem. However, he felt that there was still room to make the piece look more natural, particularly in how the hair fell and move.

We also think that Rehair Lab can do well to include an at-a-glance price list on its website and social media page for prospective clients’ convenience.

Particularly, past clients we interviewed commend the salon’s attention to detail during customizations. 

The salon also made it so the clients’ hair systems were breathable, which we believe is a blessing to these clients given Singapore’s tropical climate. 

Moreover, the salon did provide helpful and crystal-clear advice on hair system maintenance, helping its customers make the most of their brand-new hair. 

One of them also claimed that the complimentary consultation for first-timers was key to him sticking around to avail of more services. 

Know that a fully-customized hairpiece can take about six weeks to complete, though. Customers told us that the process was long because the salon took into account all of their requests. 

We also think you might want to save up for the session, as UEC charges about $650+, which can easily go up each return visit. 

Still, we think the inclusions make the rates competitive. Also, there are way pricier services out there, and this one is actually on the lower price level.

We like Aremyhair, as it made hair system replacement and maintenance a pleasant experience for most of the clients we interviewed.

Particularly, we like that the clients said that the studio provided a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere for them, helping them gain confidence even before they got the look they wanted.

We also love that, according to them, Aremyhair’s hair replacement solution was not time-consuming but still detailed and beautifully styled. 

Generally, the hairpiece would last about two months before clients return to the studio for maintenance, which we think is fair.

Sadly, Aremyhair only caters to men clients. The more detailed hair system can be pretty expensive, too, reaching over $1,000.

Still, we appreciate the studio’s pricing transparency. We also think that Aremyhair’s rates were reasonable upon observing the smooth and natural-looking results.

Aderans has extensive hair replacement packages for both men and women, making them a must-try. Consequently, we interviewed several male and female clients to know what the service was like.

What left an impact on us was how past clients described their first visit. 

They said that the salon executed the scalp analysis, consultation, picking of a style, and final discussion thoughtfully and efficiently. The care done in each step proved their visits fruitful, not to mention educational.

Our interviewees also said that the consultant heard all their concerns and requests. True enough, the headpieces fit perfectly and were natural-looking.

Know that wigs by Aderans can take over a month to finish, though. You might want to visit another studio if you don’t like to wait.

We also think that Aderans should at least specify a base rate for its service on its web page.

While we understand that pricing highly depends on each individual’s preferences, a base rate can give prospective clients a rough idea of the budget they need.

While it offers surgical hair transplants, we still picked Freia Medical for its other hair treatment solutions that can help with mild to moderate hair loss.

I tried the service myself, and the clinic offered laser therapy, which can help boost hair growth by increasing blood flow on the scalp. 

That said, the clinic clarified that this method works on the crown and mid-scalp areas and not on the hairline. I appreciate the honesty and thought it was still worth a try.

I did notice an improvement after undergoing regular sessions for a few weeks. It’s also good news that this method could work for both men and women.

However, know that regular laser sessions can get quite pricey. Be sure to confirm with the clinic if the method can work for you (like I did) so you can avoid wasting time and money.

Also, know that this therapy is limited to people with moderate cases. We encourage those with severe hair loss to go for the pricier, albeit more effective, hair replacement systems or hair transplants.
