Beating chronic pain is possible with Singapore’s best osteopaths!
As mentioned in our guide on Singapore’s best naturopath doctors, traditional medicine can fail. My mother, for example, continued to experience persistent back pain and headaches despite trying several conventional treatments.
Osteopathy provided a different solution that worked. The hands-on, non-invasive, and drug-free modality addressed her whole body, including the root causes of her chronic pains.
Since then, her discomfort levels have reduced, and we even saw improvements in her mobility and flexibility.
If you’re chasing the same results, the osteopaths featured in this article are among Singapore’s finest. Their case history can vouch for that.

Broad is how we’d label City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy. In the same clinic, visceral, structural, cranial, and paediatric care is offered.
They’re especially spot-on in healing patients recovering from injuries and those dealing with chronic aches. I mean, we have teammates who literally got back on track after having their aching knees checked by senior osteopaths such as Hillary and Grace.
What’s noteworthy is that some of the practitioners here also qualify as physiotherapists, so patients don’t have to move elsewhere for evidence-based and detailed rehab exercises.
Personality-wise, friendly, engaging, and reassuring sum them up best. That’s massive if treatments make you anxious or you’re a parent whose child only cooperates when the exercises are fun.
It’s not always possible to see your preferred osteopath, though. Availability is often reserved months ahead of time.
Initial consultations also cost S$210, which is a tad higher compared to Singapore’s typical price point.
He is amazing
Have seen Paul twice now for my daughter and he is not only professional and knowledgeable but amazing with making sure there is a plan for moving forward with correct mobility and strengthening techniques. He is amazing and would highly recommend him for injury, prevention and recovery

No treatment plan is the same at Back in Health. Every patient undergoes a program designed with their condition, lifestyle, and goal in mind.
Making that possible is Dr John Marshall’s broad clinical expertise. The senior osteopath is trained in strength and conditioning, IDD, clinical pilates, dry needling, and shockwave therapy.
To book him, you have to fork over S$190, which is reasonable in Singapore. Besides, follow-up sessions are cheaper at S$170 each, and initial phone check-ups cost zero.
Something else we appreciate is the availability of packages, since they’re 10–20% less than individual visits.
The downsides? Unlike most multi-specialist clinics, Back in Health only has two in-house osteopaths: Dr Marshall and Dr Johanna Cheong, and only the latter is fluent in Mandarin and English.
But hey, both consistently achieve positive outcomes in neck pain and migraine relief, so waiting for a slot to open up isn’t a daft idea.
Highly recommended
I’ve been seeing Johanna Cheong for months and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is exceptionally skilled at treating my neck, back, and shoulder aches, and every treatment session leaves me feeling significantly better almost instantly. Johanna is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and her attentiveness makes every visit a positive experience. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, and always tailors her treatments to provide the best possible care. Her genuine dedication shows not only during the session but also afterward too by checking in the next day to make sure I’m feeling okay, which is such a thoughtful and personal touch. Johanna is absolutely the one to see for all. Highly recommended!

Johanna made me feel comfortable
I’ve been seeing Johanna for over 12 months, as my back requires it. She has helped me with issues in my lower back and hips, as well as recent neck and shoulder issues. After one session, I feel a fast improvement, and I’m back to normal in two. She takes the time to get to know you, and as someone new to SG, Johanna made me feel comfortable and relaxed right away. I highly recommend Johanna as a trusted pair of hands who continuously checks in to see how I’m healing, as well as sharing videos to help maintain my ongoing recovery and well-being.

Orchard Health Clinic know how to calm highly anxious individuals. From experience, every staff member is friendly and reassuring, always checking on visitors to ensure they’re comfortable with the process.
The osteopaths are pretty accurate at diagnosing problem areas, too, which is massive since they design recovery plans based on a patient’s medical history, lifestyle, and movement patterns.
It’s just a shame that some therapists have abruptly rescheduled sessions in the past. While cancelling for health reasons is understandable, not everyone can or wants to shift their schedule, especially if they paid a steep S$215 consultation fee.
A silver lining is that first sessions generally come around 20% less, and you’re investing in Australia- and UK-trained osteopaths with decades of experience.
We also like how well they explain matters, including a problem’s cause and the rationale for the most suitable treatment plan.
Excellent osteopath
Martin is truly our life savior! As our osteopath, he helped me recover from multiple injuries with such care, precision, and professionalism. His deep knowledge and gentle approach made all the difference. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend him to anyone in need of an excellent osteopath. Thank you! 🙏🏽

He was very detailed
Martin John went the extra mile to work with my fitness trainer. He was very detailed in the exercises that would help improve my condition that even my trainer was impressed, saying that this is the first time he’d come across such a thorough osteopath. Martin’s positive and reassuring approach gives me the confidence and motivation to work towards better health and habits.

Among Body InSync Osteopathic Care’s strong points is having ties with American organisations such as the AOIA and AOA. That means the clinic’s practice aligns with international benchmarks.
Better yet, patients often notice quick results in less than a week. Some teammates even claimed their back pain and numbness issues got better after only one session.
Much of the praise is directed to the HEAL Method. It’s a modern approach combining modalities such as manual therapy, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, shockwave therapy, and music therapy.
Unfortunately, securing a slot is challenging; the clinic doesn’t accept walk-ins or online bookings and operates strictly on a referral basis. You also don’t have other options beyond the internationally trained Dr Daniel Foo, resulting in even longer wait times.
There’s one major boon that might make you overlook the lengthy wait period, though, and it’s Dr Foo’s gentle touch. His treatments are often painless.
Very professional and kind
I was diagnosed with GERD in April. Besides, there’s a large gallbladder stone. Since the beginning of this year, my health had been going downhill with various issues – stomach pain, bloating, rapid heartbeats, back and neck aches. These affected my sleep badly and I felt tired most of the time. I felt quite depressed and wondered if I have to put up with these issues even with medication. The doctors I saw recommended surgery to remove the gallbladder but I was reluctant to proceed. Then I came across Dr Foo and Amy through my daughter’s friend. She was treated by Dr Foo with good results. I understand that Dr Foo uses a natural healing method he invented called HEAL . I decided to give it a try and it was the best decision I made in a long long time. I have now finished the 5th session and all my health issues are gone! Even the scoliosis which I had since young is almost gone. I am 65 years old .Dr Foo is very professional and kind and his healing method is gentle and non invasive. With his healing hands, he is able to coax this old body into good health again … Thank you so much Dr Foo and Amy!

Made a difference is my life
I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 14 years old. I do not want to wear a brace because it feels very uncomfortable in it and also according to my orthopedic doctor, the correction is not guaranteed. I also have other health problems such as tinnitus, bent big toes, and aching knees due to meniscus deformity. However, after visiting Dr Foo, my overall well-being has improved tremendously. For instance, I have a much better posture, an enhanced agility and an increased concentration and focus while studying. Dr Foo’s encouragement and kindness towards me has boosted my self-confidence too. Thank you Dr Foo. You have made a difference is my life!

Identifying the root cause of your problem is what the award-winning Osteopathic Centre does best. Their consultation process is rigorous, with biochemical, emotional, postural, musculoskeletal, dietary, and lifestyle factors all considered.
That often results in accurate recovery plans with quick outcomes. My mother’s chronic back pain, for instance, became more manageable after a 30-minute session with osteopath Gregory Durand, a British School of Osteopathy alumnus.
She was also evaluated regularly to check whether her plan needs changes or updates. If you’d rather not pay for ineffective treatments, that’s a big plus.
Where they fall a bit short is reliability: one patient experienced last-minute cancellations twice in a row.
Travel time is another snag to factor in, particularly if you’re relying on public transport. From the Singapore CBD, reaching The Osteopathic Centre by train takes around 40–45 minutes.
The upside is we’re talking about a “one-stop” clinic with 10-plus modalities.
Really knowledgeable
The Osteopathic Centre were such a big support to me, helping me look after my body. This was so important in the final few weeks of my recent Hyrox preparation. Greg patiently educated me on the importance of mobility and flexibility, giving me simple but effective exercises. He went well out of his way to help me right up to the final few days helping me manage my body. Such an invaluable help, really knowledgeable Nd such great people. Thank you!!

Quickly determined where the issues were
The whole experience has been fantastic! The whole process – from finding an appointment and registering through to payment and details of take away exercises has been very smooth and clearly. Iqra is amazing! She quickly determined where the issues were and in one session swiftly applied a variety of techniques that immediately relieved the shoulder pain I had been suffering.
